The city of Bloomington has also added covered spaces in a parking lot that doubles as a farmers market as well. And a couple more photos of the blocked road and outdoor dining spaces.

Some things that Bloomington, Indiana is doing right! 1) Lots of “No turn on red” signs in pedestrian areas 2) Closing streets off to cars and allowing restaurants to use that outdoor space 3) converting unused train tracks into rail trails in the middle of the city 4) Lots of little pocket parks
