Later was a dog food run. That's when I saw the rainbow. That's the second one I've seen since moving here. I'm not sure how to take that. Something something good omen? Last night and today went well enough that I let Kiddo stay up late again.

Welp, the local crows posed for me, and I saw a rainbow. So here I am. Today I procured a Halloween costume. I still have the hat from last year. The rest was made up of my clothes and was pretty lame/disappointing. Now I have something worthy of the hat. I'm very happy with it. ->

It's not collapsible like the last one, but it is blue, and it's something I picked for myself. I let Kiddo stay up later than usual because it's the weekend. Weekends should be fun, and staying up late is fun. Depending on how this weekend goes I wanna make it a thing. ->

Things were off kilter today. School started late and threw everything off. Didn't bother with the math for the bus and braved the drop off zone instead. There wasn't much time between dropoff and needing to get shit done. Enough time to eat food and go. Even had a thing fall by the wayside ->

When I got back I switched to the kind of art that's not so portable. Then kept at till it was time to get Kiddo. I think the other parent lol'd at me when they went to the other bus stop. This is the second day running I've had pigmented hands. Once TV time rolled around I went back to art. ->

The big thing was I finally signed up for the local food bank. That was a thing that was bugging me. Doubly so since I never did any food bank related stuff before we moved. I have many potatoes now and it brings me joy. It was a thing that I didn't realize was bothering me till I did it. ->

I've been using semi premade stuff. Nothing crazy or fancy, or even what I originally planned. Still it was good and it made me happy. Overall I'm trying not to go as hard as I was. It's caught up with me. I'm not getting as much done, but I'm still getting some things done. ->
