Democracy is not self-executing I struggle daily with speaking up in the digital space. With constant surveillance, employers monitoring you to ensure you remain ideologically in line, & AI capturing your every move, democracy is under threat. Our rights & freedoms as citizens are being threatened.

I was going thru some of my old books & found this from 2009. I wonder how kids feel today surrounded by cameras, AI, & algorithms predicting their next thoughts & actions? This isn’t paranoia anymore. Everything IS watching you. And for the most part, everyone is quiet about it. Does anyone care?

So true. My pup recently became a therapy dog and it’s truly amazing how she instinctively knows how to light up everyone she comes in contact with. #therapydogs
