in case you can't tell wtf you're looking at; that's not the hand, that's one massive fucking finger, the metatarsals of the hand are very short, the first finger digit is normal, and like many real life animals have the second finger is highly enlarged/elongated. awful horrible fucking creature i hate looking at it i love it and how realistic/plausible the anatomy is

𝙁IVE 𝙋EBBLES. @randomgods.bsky.social · 23/02/2025

counterpoint: that is the entirely incorrect part of the wingarm; that is the outer edge of the wing itself. hand. with padded palms, and plenty enough dexterity to avoid popping the ball.

000

𝙁IVE 𝙋EBBLES. @randomgods.bsky.social · 23/02/2025

oh, this is easy. have you Seen how ridiculously beefy his wingarms are? simple; fling the ball as hard as physically possible with a wingarm. assuming the ball is normal sized for a person, that'll be pretty small comparatively to him, which just means it'll go even farther!

chaotic gore picture for reference since i don't have proper pebbs drawing references yet</3

xiv. pebbles' travel vessel has two rows of "teeth"; the outer row is part of the hard protective carapace that covers his body, with sharp and pointy protrusions around the mouth forming into external "teeth", while the inner ones are metal plates comparable to the jaws of a dunkleosteus, +
