Check out this beautiful agate I found over the weekend. Had no idea what it could look like inside before cutting. Definitely surprised and needed to polish it immediately. #lapidary #rockpolishing #rocks #minerals #agate #PNW

Sometimes you work really really hard to get a cab as close to perfect as you can. Then when walking over to the magnifying lense to inspect it, you drop it on the floor……..sigh… I suppose this one is destined to be a square now.🤷‍♂️🤣 #lapidary #art #rockart #oops

Very cool piece of “Electric Blue” Obsidian. This was pulled from a claim in California. Very hard to get all the color in a photo but here you can easily see that many layers. #rockhound #obsidian

Look at this gigantic piece of petrified wood. It was too heavy to bring home however. #rockhound

This is what oligarchy is folks.

Screenshot of a tweet by Oliver Darcy stating that after the LA Times published a piece about Elon Musk, a new rule was implemented. Headlines for opinion stories must now be emailed to owner Patrick Soon-Shiong for review before publication.

Tragically, I fear this will be a natural consequence as rich get richer and poor get poorer especially as claims are denied and they lose loved ones.

People are leaving Twitter because it’s not fun anymore and no one is obligated to be on a platform they don’t enjoy. It’s not rocket science.

This is a very cool very rare Enhydro Agate. It’s a fully polished piece. The water that is trapped inside of this stone is millions of years old if not hundreds of millions. #agate #lapidary #rockpolish #rockhound

Any other gamers out there have trouble staying in Starfield? I don’t know what it is but after NG +1. I can’t get motivated to play it since.

Day 3 - here on this app and I’ve yet to think of something philosophical to share. So I will again default to my “unpopular opinions” this one is a music one. Rush is the single most overrated band in music history.🤷‍♂️

I feel like my very first post here should be profound. Unfortunately I can’t come up with anything like that right now. So I’ll just default to saying that Cool Ranch Doritos are far more superior than Nacho Cheese flavored.
