And the guys I am talking about are called Fleeters. They're like six-legged jellyfish kelpie things, shape-wise. Their advice may be something like "better luck next time", and then they point to the entirety of human history and mention that there was a time when you couldn't make snacks for yourself so life gets better, is what thay're saying. Don't give up.

Genius Loci is filled to the brim wth spirits. its completely normal to do morning chores on the fileds among tiny nature spriits happily floating by, or to greet the solemn large nature spirit of the nearby volcano, asking for its good will. Many places hold echoes, the more likely more important those places are to history, the arts, or politics.

Or at least flying rayfish feel like a classic - after all my earliest memory of them is KOTOR. The one in The Dark Crystal: Resistance was very impressive for sure. I did try to give them my own spin... so I made them gas bags?! Trust me though, there is an entire ecology around gasbags. Good gasbags.

It's basically just a simple name change but I really wanted to use apothecary instead of alchemist although both terms exists in Genius Loci.
