Hi, thank you! The MC yarn is a tweedy yarn (Lanivendole Bottoni) and it has, as you noticed, specks of fuchsia, green and other colours. I chose the mohair, partly because I had it on stash, but also to match the specks 😉

I have knitted much less cardigans than sweaters, but I love them. This one is the ResetCardi by @rililie.bsky.social the fit is just perfect. I use one strand of De Rerum Natura Berenice 🧶 #showmeyourknits

Reclaimed 🧶 for #showmeyourknits 🧶 is alpaca hand spun by an Aymara lady from Chile. I knitted the first, wrapped pullover by Alfa knits in 2012, wore it and loved it, but over the years my style changed a bit. In 2021 I unravel it to make Snowy forest by Midori Hirose. Love it and wear it often.

Some excellent suggestions already. I wanted to add: unusual constructions (e.g. sideways, modular, etc.); bottoms (skirt, shorts, pants, etc); frogged items/repurposed yarn.

For week 51 I show you my green summer dress #showmeyourknits that I finished already in May but I still need to wear (I need to go on holiday!) the green 🧶 is linen from De Rerum Natura and the turquoise is silk from Ito.

As usual, I have many WIPs lying around but my most active are the Abydos tee and a self-drafted black dress. I love #summerknits as much as traditional woolly knits. The green 🧶 are 100% linen- De rerum natura Antigone and Fonty Merlin- and the black one is Drops Belle. #showmeyourknits #knitsky

#showmeyourknits gifts 🤔 I don't knit so much for other people, definitely not large projects, one exception is my partner who's a very knitworthy person. This is the most recent sweater I knitted for him a #riddari in Icelandic 🧶 It was his Christmas present this year. He likes it very much ☺️

As other people have said you only need to turn the body at the beginning of the sleeves... But, yeah, I do hate seaming that much 😝 But, more than that I find top-down seamless construction allows trying on and adjusting the fit more easily than seamed constructions.

I often give away the jumpers I don't wear anymore, but this one had a couple of holes and I didn't want to throw it away. So I'm frogging it to recover this nice merino/angora 🧶 from a Chilean mill that sadly closed down. I think I'll pair it with another yarn to give it some strength #knitsky

My aunt taught me when I was 6ish, then at school when I was 12 I had to knit for a manual arts class. But I only started seriously after university, then I found Ravelry (in 2009) and I have not stopped ever since
