any ideas on services to upload videos to show directly in the blog? 🙏

i don’t know much about editing 🤣 but it’s been fun to experiment recording these. finding time to record these in between all the design work is challenging but it’s fun! there’s also one i recorded a few weeks ago covering the onboarding of the app. bsky.app/profile/rams...

& another one for the menu bar to quickly peek at ongoing work 👀

💛 i am part of the design team of the new GitHub Copilot app 〜 i’ve been taking a few videos to show some tiny features here and there. had fun making a 10s video showing some themes we packed into the app 🌈

💛 we spent a lot of time designing a calm and warm onboarding for the GitHub Copilot app. stress-free & with soft defaults to get you started, flowing naturally into the home view 〜 there’s a nice progressive disclosure of tips + clear settings to customize the experience.

i’m glad it feels familiar Jerome 🙇🏻 you’re completely right! the new generation of designers are bringing new ideas and new energy that we should be looking forward to! 😍

daily i read about how design is dead. how ai is replacing our skills. that if you’re not shipping, you’re invisible. my experience? nothing can replace genuine curiosity, the beautiful accidents, or the contagious energy when an idea finally makes sense. exploring 🌸〜 ramses.work/posts/about-...

🐊 i've been experimenting with creating a tiny extension for Google Chrome that hides all stats on WaniKani while doing lessons, reviews or extra study: ナニカニ it helps me focus on the activities without worrying too much about the numbers. just 1 kanji at a time <3 → github.com/ramsescab/nanikani

social image for nanikani showing the stats crossed out
