bioshock comes to mind ^^ I think you already own it, if not thats ofc a deal breaker? But very story and lore driven so it can be quite interresting even over a long time

Anyways I am rambling, what helped me back then was LatencyMon by resplendence.com to pindown the exact driver that caused the issues. Can't say with certainty that this your issue but hey I couldn't have with mine either till I checked. 3/3

For me it was my direct ethernet connection to anther pc that was turned off but had wake on lan enabled, I think my main pc basically send packages to the shut off PC and waited for the confirmation massage which again would never happen because that PC was never running to begin with 2/3

back in like 2021 I had audio issues and it turned DPC latancy issues (DPC's are interrupts, things that are more important than just normal code that gets executed so to speak) 1/3

It probably should be pointed out that this isn't the case for English at all and only for German (which is still nice but also an important distinction) ^^

do you mean the pro vs the pro tech go? The 75€ pro looks worth to me, even just because it comes with an extension for the screwdriver and non magnetic tweezers (the Reverse Tweezers have a metal body but nylon tips - that can make all the difference handling magnets)

My personal recommendation, go for a nice tea store in the city, they have a better selection than that vtuber shopify store could ever have

My guess is they planned allot of info to be visible in the photos of the backside but then resized it too hard You can recognize "Made in <something>" in the last lines and probably a bit more info but yeh - that totally doesn't scream professionalism: make sure its readable if you bank on it.

the worst thing is that they don't even tell you the weight of it, because those 20 tea bags are not filled it could be more or less than fits into those bags.

The CEO of Gearbox seems to hold the position that UE5 isn't the cause of the performance issues and that UE5 features are very optimized out of the box (no they are a performance mess and need to be "fixed" by every dev using them) So I am not surpised they struggle with getting it to run on switch

Yes, pretty much. I said "plans to use in the future" Plans and laws change In the McDonalds case it didnt happen because it was one step too far. If they had, backlash from regulators and consumers would have been high Thats why I say: dont belittle patents. Without backlash, companies will do it

ramog.bsky.social @ramog.bsky.social · 03/02/2026

No company ever patents something that they dont atleast plan to use in the future Calling it “just a patent” seriously downplays the gravity of the situation This vs VAs Money, you have to pay VAs per job, spread over multiple tasks it scales cheaper And this wouldn’t be the AIs only use for Sony

I'd argue that it was always fine wine and somehow just keeps on getting better the older it gets - but thats just being nitpicky. Even Stargate Atlantis is still fun we are just allot more busy than at the height of corona.

depends on how old the games are steam doesn't even run anymore on anything past win 10 GOG would be the better choice honestly

On the other hand, x86 games on an ARM VR headset (mobile) platform are quite huge Not to add the streaming option from PC, which apparently is implemented very well. 2/2

Steam controllers are always gonna be hit or miss The issue is that they have to add support for mouse controlled games that don't need switching positions (grip, etc.) to use it They have to fit more functionality into it than other companies to make it viable for the whole steam library 1/2

the big question is just, is it the fault of the companies or the fault of the government that allows those companies to do what they do Honestly: I'd go with the second one, a company in its defintion is created to make profit - its the job of the government to regulate and show boundaries

if its an unimportant script and it does something niche I am not interrested in I sometimes go for full chatgpt stuff (last time that was a script that splits all the embeded pdfs out of a host pdf) really not an interresting topic and just a script that needed to work for other people 2/2

ai is pretty good for asking it questions about programming languages, what I try to limit is asking it to write a script I more often ask questions like: is there a function that can do this already in a language etc. that works pretty well 1/2

I mean for viewing even firefox is enough, the issues come when you edit or create pdfs, some things are very proprietary or atleast only in buy software But using free software from adobe isn't the issue either, this doesn't support them at all. (ofc you can still buy other software when needed).
