I just learnt that yesterday marked the 28th anniversary of Pokémon Red and Blue's release on Europe. Bit late to the party, but I think it's a good time to share these commissioned sprites I've drawn of Jesse & James... disguised as Team Aqua grunts! #pixelart 🌊

I was recently commissioned to draw this Megaman "Cross" version in the style of the Battle Network series - which has stellar pixel art if you ask me! Reasonably happy with the rhythm of this one ^^ Starting the week with a blast! #pixelart ☄️

Finishing the week with this shot of a scene featuring the low-poly model I recently finished for a commission, in an equally low-poly background! He's taking a break from exploring some ruins, and I will be taking a weekend break as well. Have a nice one! #blender #lowpoly ☁️

Soo I drew this spectacled cat-girl a while ago for a comm and forgot to share it... but now she gets her time on the spotlight. Better late than never! Big share tomorrow on the 3D front, so stay tuned! #pixelart ❄️

FF XIV Paladin, in the style of classic FF ^^. Him and the Au Ra ninja I shared not long ago will be starring in an animation together very soon! #pixelart ⚔️

Low-poly model of Hamza the hunter is complete! A fun commission for which I'm very thankful to the patron's trust, since my 3D portfolio is rather modest at the moment. Still one more update on this one where I'll pose him in a background - coming soon! 🏹 #blender #3d #lowpoly

An animated sprite in the Castlevania style I was commissioned to do recently! A tricky style in spite of its small size, since it relies on smooth motion and minimalistic strokes if you want to capture the essence. But I always welcome a challenge! #pixelart #castlevania 🧙‍♀️🌹

Even though I'm "Ramen Pixel", I've been branching out to the world of 3D! To try and remain on brand, I guess the textures have big pixels on them, since they're low poly... Here's a model I'm working on for a patron, for the same character I already drew a sprite for! #3d bsky.app/profile/rame...

Everyone asks where is Umbreon walking to... but no one asks, how is Umbreon? I think the meme went like that... Next week, he might be picking up the pace! #pixelart #pokemon 🚶

Today, I present to you 2 cool fellows: Erick and his Alolan Grimer, turned into tiny overworld sprites in the style of DS Pokémon games! Did this short animation for a patron's Poké-themed roleplay campaign - which is about the coolest thing I've heard in a while! #pixelart ✨

Time for another blast from the past with this huge commission I'm working on for a FF Tactics sheet! Here's all the sides of the charming OC I've been entrusted to insert in Ivalice, and a funny spin preview I like to do with these because sometimes I'm 2 years old! Look at her SPIN! #pixelart 🐺🌀

Starting the week with another Octopath sprite commision I've received recently, of a very cute OC called Lumina! I believe her simple but iconic design translated rather well to pixel ^^. I will be showing off 2 animations of her very soon! :D #pixelart 💎

Haven't given up my roots of drawing sprites in the classic FF style - and to prove it, here's a commission in that style I've received recently of a Au Ra Ninja from FF XIV! ^^ #pixelart #ffxiv

Remember the commission of the Umbreon animations I shared last week? Well, he's going to be moving in many more directions soon... no less than nine of them! Don't worry, Dark types don't get dizzy. I think... #pixelart

Giving another iconic, small pixel artstyle some love with this Octopath-esque commission I've finished recently, of a cool crossbow hunter! Don't we all love some crossbow action? Coolest ranged weapon ever? 🏹 #pixelart

Starting the week with another isometric sprite commission ^^. Many more coming in the following days that I've been working on! On another piece of news, my requests are closed due to a high volume of requests. Will reopen in a few weeks after I get through them! #pixelart🔪

Continuing this commission journey to give a 3rd gen backsprite to tons of Pokémon trainers... the turn has arrived for Erika! I hear her gym is great, because it's full of wo-... I-I mean, strong trainers! 👘 #pixelart #pokemon

As part of an ongoing commission, I drew the OC of a patron as if they were part of Stardew Valley. The right one of course - the left one is Abigail's sprite! Not the last you've seen of these two, so stay tuned! #pixelart 🌳

"Master Roshi? Never heard of him..." Just a funny FE-style portrait I was commissioned to do. Any similarity with a noseless Dragon Ball character is mere coincidence #pixelart 🐉🔮

Been a long while since I have drawn a portrait in the FF Tactics style, which is the first I offered for commissions a long time ago - so it was nice getting another request on it ^^. Nothing wrong about my bigger FE inspired ones, but these still have their charm! #pixelart🐐

Colors are an important part of all art, but more so in pixel art where they tend to be more limited. Here's a commission I'm working on, before vs after a recolor the patron requested! Always fun to touch a sprite's palette! #pixelart 🎨

It can be tricky pulling off smaller motions on sprites sometimes - often you need to exaggerate motions and enlarge props to convey the idea, twist the pixels in a myriad ways until it looks the clearest... But when everything sort of clicks, it's satisfying! #pixelart 🔫

It's sad that some frames play for so short a time that Twitter's viewer seems to be skipping them... or maybe it's just a me-problem? At any rate, here's a critical attack I animated for the FE Warmaster commission! #pixelart 🗡️

Another big-headed 'chibi' sprite, part of the same commission as the wild swordmaster I shared a while ago ^^ hair was once more the trickiest part, but I'm not sad with the result! Perhaps I should draw more of these and offer them as sprite options... #pixelart

Ramen Pixel @ramenpixel.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

I'm glad to announce that I have drawn and animated a magic-themed room where the cute pair Ruka and Saheze can chill in now! ^^ The patron for this commission plans to make a point-and-click minigame with these - I'll share tidbits of that once it's ready! #pixelart 🧙‍♀️

New commissioned sprite I'm working on, which will be wielding one of the most badass-looking sci-fi guns in existence... Psycho Pass' Dominator! I was a bit too excited and drew it separately and too big at first lol, hence the shrinked version! #pixelart 🔫

All of the animations I made for Fire Emblem's Brawler class - as if it debuted in the GBA, instead of on Switch's Three Houses! A very cool patron will use these in a romhack. Its next class tier, Warmaster, is coming soon! #pixelart #fireemblem 👊

Time for Lt. Surge to take his turn on the 3rd gen back sprite commission I'm still working on ^^. Of course, I had to maintain the self-pointing thumb pose. This veteran's throwing motion will be epic too - it'll be coming soon! #pixelart 👍

Finishing the week with this animation I finished recently in the style of GBA title-screens, for a very cool patron who will use it as a 'Starting Soon' stream screen! As opposed to what their character's title may suggest, they are actually very nice! ^^ #pixelart

For a recent commission, a patron asked me to turn a cat merchant character (one in the middle) to a more cartoonish-looking one. And so I did! This is for a Madou Monogatari fan project - a game from the creators of the more famous Puyo Puyo games. More coming! #pixelart 🐱💰
