The last step was putting the night light bases onto the stained glass screens, and the tiny nuts & bolts had me laughing at just how damn small they are. ellumbagworks.etsy.com/listing/4449… #stainedglass #homedecor

I’m obsessed with how these incense burners turned out! There is always incense burning in our home, so a stained glass incense burner just makes sense. Available over at: ellumbagworks.etsy.com #stainedglass #homedecor #incense

Setting up for a soldering sesh! It takes a lot of gear to set up for a long stint of soldering stained glass. Might as well have fun doing it! #stainedglass #stainedglassartist

Let’s pick out some stained glass. I’ve had a small little stained glass pattern waiting for me to hurry up and pick out some glass to use. #stainedglass #artist

Foiling didn’t go as planned.. Time to foil & chill. I needed to replace some glass for my stained glass panel, and it was supposed to be non eventful, but my fid decided to die on me. Partly anyway.. #stainedglass #art #stainedglassartist

Solder some stained glass with me. I put a little too much flux, and the sounds, well the sounds are quite something 😂 #stainedglass #glassartist #art

No one can see you the way I do. I remade my first stained glass piece to sell, and well it got a little chip in a right in the middle! Oh well, it’ll have a mark down on it when I put it up for sale later on. #stainedglass #glassart #stainedglassart #oops #artist #art

Evening studio time. 10/10 soldering experience. Last piece that was waiting done. 8 weeks sober. Today was a good day. #stainedglass #stainedglassartist #sober

Not quite in the home stretch yet, but still moving forward.

Today’s #makersmARTch theme is “fire”. Sharing a picture I did for a yoga deck a very long time ago. I used photos of my bonfire for inside the body.

Against a starry universe background a figure sits cross legged, arms outstretched. There is a fire burning through them.

My little glass shop is a mess. Half finished pieces, broken pieces being reinvented, new patterns waiting. And I’m just kinda frozen. Stuck in my head. Kinda speaking out into the void.

Anyone have any art materials that are banned from your work? I’ll go first, white irid glass! If it’s stained glass with black patina, hell NO.

I had a lot of problem solving with this second mushroom stained glass sun catcher. Frustrating for sure, but I have more knowledge to keep in mind for future pieces. Plus a friendly reminder to not leave projects half finished for months on end, or pay for it later. #stainedglass #mushroom #art

Progress of making stained glass. Foiled glass, and taped together right before beginning soldering.

Stained glass after soldering, cleaning, and applying patina. Prior to waxing!

My little shop gremlin always keeps watch over me, but often falls asleep on the job in the window. I don’t blame her, those sunbeams are so cozy. #caturday

Thank you, it was such a rough week. I’ve made it through, and look forward to one month.

It’s essentially our Trans rally cry at this point as our protections are quickly eroded away. Though it’s becoming applicable to many swaths of people, and that’s heartbreaking.

Correct. Fury is running through my veins.

My existence is resistance. This has been an exceptionally hard week, and I’m working on finding joy even in the smallest of places. Right now, that’s the light refractions from this stained glass mushroom sun catcher. #stainedglass #glassart #mushroom

I’m still planning out my garden, but for now I’m foraging what’s in the backyard. Got mullein last year, grabbed henbit, speedwell & some dandelion greens the other day.

Three weeks sober today, and clawing my way out of major depression. Doing so with the rapid rise of fascism is certainly a choice, but one I’m personally happy with.

I’ve finally foiled up my last piece that’s been waiting ever so patiently. Now time to solder up everything! Then I can finally put them up for sale. Just about every other piece of glass during foiling, I just wanted to start on something new… No more half finished projects! #stainedglass #art

Ohhhh I feel this in my bones… I’m trying to finish up half done projects too, but my brain itches to start new ones!
