AEW's tribute to the "Bastard" PAC was beautifully done. The video package to end Dynamite absolutely broke me. May he rest in peace 🖤

If we’re only going to have one mega server in World of Warcraft Forever, we need to be able to have a horde and alliance character on PVP ruleset. I understand the want to keep it like vanilla, but some people want to world PvP on both without having to toggle it on.

Unsure if Monsters & Memories will be the MMO for me, but I’m excited to try the Early Access period. Who knows, it may win me over and take me away from World of Warcraft Forever.

World of Warcraft Forever is about to be the only game I play.

I love One Piece because it truly feels like what Dragon Ball could have been if Toriyama continued writing arcs similar to Pilaf and Red Ribbon Army with that sense of adventure and wonder.

I'm going to need an indie developer to make a GTA alternative that uses the 3D era games as a reference. I miss playing fun games, not games that incorporate "realism."

After hearing Yu Suzuki praise RGG on Virtua Fighter Crossroads stating this is always how he envisioned VF, it gives me hope that potentially RGG/Ys Net can work together on a Shenmue remake or just Shenmue IV in the future.

Got the Platinum Trophy in Astro Bot today and my first overall I’ve ever gotten lol. I had one hell of a time with the game and now I look forward to anything Team Asobi makes.

Just saying, a Team Asobi LittleBigPlanet game would go hard.

The new Steam Controller will sometimes make the Wilhelm Scream sound if you drop it while in Big Picture Mode 💀

Finished up the base game of Splatoon 2 for the first time and had a blast. I can't believe I never played the main game and just went straight into multiplayer back in 2017. Welp, now it's time for the Octo Expansion.

The Mysterious Murasame Castle could be Nintendo's Sekiro, but they playin. Takamaru has potential to be a popular character in your arsenal. Let your young developers cook this up.

Loving my time with Astro Bot. In the pictures shown I somehow clipped my way into the pillar when the platform flipped back to its neutral position 😅

Astro waving for the camera in front of the area I clipped through

Somehow, I’ve managed to get myself stuck behind a spiked platform that flips.

Luckily the team added quick sand behind it to get myself unstuck.

Mashing the checkout button on Steam like it’s god damn Cookie Clicker is not my idea of fun. Got the Steam Controller ordered though.

Alright, Rockstar, time to drop trailer #3 for GTA 6.

And the signed copy is mine, absolutely love this game.

I guess I should read the packaging. Just ate a salad for a family of 4.

The Monument Valley games have some of the best aesthetics of any video game. The entire experience with the burst of color really puts me in a good mood.

Ratcheteer is my favorite Playdate game to date and I just saw that it is coming to Steam in March as Ratcheteer DX. I cannot wait to play this game again on the Steam Deck.

Abolish ICE and prosecute them. That is all I want to hear from elected officials at this point in time. My heart hurts every day seeing people ripped from homes and cars just trying to go to work, children being kidnapped and people being murdered for exercising their 1st and 2nd amendment rights.

Red Dead Redemption is one hell of a game and an adventure that one never forgets. I hope RDR2 gets ported to Switch 2 because I loved taking so many screenshots and videos to share with my family😂

Out of the reveals last night at The Game Awards, I was really drawn to Orbitals. I just really love the art style and it seems like a fun couch co-op game with a friend or loved one.

Counter-Strike VR would be a really cool game for Steam Frame, just saying Valve. Bring back the old school server browser like from CS 1.6 and CSS and this could be a massive hit. I'd probably only play this game lol

Zohran Mamdani's Mayoral win has me hyped and feeling nostalgic. Time to play GTA IV.

The Game Chasers played a pivotal role in my game chasing adventure to collect the Sega Genesis and toys that I had in my childhood and the reason I respect retro gaming as much as I do. The banter between him and Jay always reminded me of me and my brother, so this one hurts a bit. RIP Billy.

Nintendo Switch 2 is here. Walmart actually delivered to me before 9AM. Even added a coke and pringles to go with it!

OK I think my Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order is safe. Walmart notified me that it is preparing to ship and I should check over my address *phew*

GTA4 on Steam Deck just feels right. I’m surprised R*/T2 never hired someone to port it to Nintendo Switch. They said GTA5 wasn’t going to work, which I still don’t fully believe, but I’m sure 4 would have worked just fine.

M.P. Rambeard @rambeard.bsky.social · 05/05/2025

It is my great hope that most FPS games that released on Switch eventually get updates to enable mouse mode on Switch 2. I love gyro controls, but the mouse mode would put them over the top.

010

M.P. Rambeard @rambeard.bsky.social · 03/05/2025

Instead of Splatoon 4 (at least for now), Nintendo should port Splatoon 1 to Switch 2 with mouse mode support. Call it Splatoon - New Play Control! (like the Wii days of certain game ports) and just celebrate the franchise for a year with that game.

Someone needs to set up a side tournament at EVO for Street Fighter 6 on Switch 2. A wiggle waggle tournament would be fun to watch.
