It's extremely curious that AI is being pushed as a means to do more with less, yet when it comes to public surveillance, there is never any discussion as to reducing the number of police. Never. Actually there isn't any paradox involved - if someone is trying to subjugate or kill you, then you have a responsibility to NOT tolerate them. It's called self defense, and self defense is an obligation to those around you.
