It has finally arrived. Lard - The Last Temptation of Reid. An essential piece of music considering it was recorded on the heels of Ministry's tour that was documented on In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up.

Back to Godflesh. For me, Selfless is where it all started. Xnoybis and Body Dome Light are songs that I attached to ferociously in early 1995.

Tonight! Been looking forward to seeing Cabaret Voltaire in any form since forever. Such a highlight on this perpetually rainy weekend. A mood has been set and I am here for it. This will be a fun night at Underground Arts.

Yes, but we always come back to them! It's interesting to me that so many albums are like timestamps on my life. Ones I listened to at different stages of life and learned new things or emotions, or parts of a song that suddenly make more sense, even after 100 listens.

Weekend soundtrack has been a lot of Killing Joke. Extremities, Dirt, and Various Repressed Emotions is one that I hold off on playing sometimes, because I never want to grow the least bit tired of it. Does anyone do that? Yeah, wtf am I thinking? So many layers here. Indulge away, lots to enjoy.

Oh wow, you can still have a first time getting into Get Ready! Kinda envious, actually. It's been one of my favorites since it came out. Crystal and Slow Jam are absolutely essential New Order songs, imo. Even if you skip the show, I highly recommend giving some listens.

Walked 9 miles yesterday. Got home and took a "nap" at 5:30 which ended up being about 10 hours long. Watching the sun come up now. Here's a fun cloud formation i saw yesterday.

Listening to it now! True story, this morning I had a dream where I was cornered in a dark building by Dwayne Goettel and cEvin Key and they were vampires with red eyes trying to scare me into something, not sure what. Looked cool though.

Putting the Damage on was one of the greatest songs at the Philly show. Really hope some official live recordings come out of this tour.

Ralphus DCLXVI @ralphus.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

So many people I knew that were there and have seen this, we're all like "God...if needed???". Hahah of course we wanted it. The Angel Witches added so much to all of these songs, and from watching some videos of God from other dates, it's like that song was perfectly made for them 😇🧙‍♀️

It was absolutely outstanding. Streets of Philadelphia was played, but Little Earthquakes, Putting the Damage On, Shush, Fire to Your Plain, Witness, and Pretty Good Year especially hit me hard. Wonderful show!!

I think Extinction of Mankind have outdone themselves with Slaves to No-One. The production sounds perfect to me, the songs are more fierce and monstrous than before if that's possible. The lyrics are so on point with the angers and criticism of our current shit world timeline

Acumen Nation was so incredible last night. Lots of songs off of Transmissions From Eville (!), they played Ventilator (!!) and Xnoybis from Godflesh (!!!) which was unreal to hear as it might be my favorite song of theirs, and I never saw Godflesh play it live. Catch the Novak brothers if you can.
