You vs the Goblin they tell you not to worry about. Huge shout out to @trueref.bsky.social's Gesture Tool and Pose Library. I was close to giving up on this guy, I just couldn't get the body right. A little time away practicing in the gesture tool and it gave me a pose that gave me a eureka moment.

Two weeks ago I would have told you I can draw stick figures if I get lucky. Today I can show my first ever character sketch. AI art has never looked more destructive to me. You really can just pick up the pencil. Go try, study the art you like, put in the effort, make **it. 🥰 #Art #ConceptArt

Her armor is asymmetrical and overall kind of needs to be shaded but I was so excited the line work was done I had to show it off.

I think this image is the most troubling part of the Larian interview to me. I have zero reach, but I think this needs to be said if an artist needs to hear it. Your ideas are worth exploring on their own merit without an algorithm that generalizes and dilutes them. No matter who says otherwise.

Hair has been a journey for certain. A struggle most of the way but I learned a ton from the tutorials and kind people who gave me feedback. Finally at a point I am gonna call this good and focus on armor entirely for the next few days. #GameDev #Art #Sculpting

Anatomy Study/Base Mesh done. Pretty proud of it. For never having even sketched before taking a stab at art and asset creation was scary but after a couple weeks of really throwing myself into it seeing rapid improvement was super heartening. Long road ahead still, time to learn hard surfaces.

Well I did it after spending most of my life programming I take my first step into art and assets. Finished a block out for a character bust. Leaving this mostly as a time capsule for my progress into the future. #gamedevelopment #art

Everyone who likes ARPG's should go play Granblue Fantasy Relink, this year's big hidden gem for me. Rarely see anyone talk about it and I feel that it was absolutely criminal it wasn't nominated for best art direction and best soundtrack at the TGA's.

I found it through some unholy fusion of words in a search. It was a custom binding by a redditor on cremposting. Unfortunately they aren't offering the rebinding service atm, but they call it Dalinar's Stormwagon and the back has Lift's quote. 😭

I was honestly blown away with how good Granblue Fantasy Relink was and I am surprised not many people talk about it even within the sphere of action RPG's. Story was mild but the rest of the game excelled especially it's multiplayer and absolutely incredible soundtrack.

For anyone looking for a good Steam Next Fest recommendation I absolutely love the Heroes of Hammerwatch II demo. Especially if you are looking for a chill dungeon crawler you can play with a group of friends. If you've never played the first one you should try that too!
