I struggle with weltschmerz, and that's often what I feed back out into the platform. The world is so vastly unjust. Every day though, I see that there's also an endless well of art, and none of it's AI. I don't think I'll ever tire of it. It's a privilege to be alive to see the art I see.

People are stunned when I tell them that any form of social media relaxes me, but Bluesky is fun. It's the only social media platform I've ever found where I can just browse and find soothing content everywhere. It's the art... There's so much of it. Even on bad days, there are old new artworks.

I "know" that "nobody" reads occultism to enjoy studying itself, but what I really know is that talking about it from a study-as-fun perspective is unpopular. It doesn't disenchant the material for me. I like comparative religion as well, and I don't have to believe in what I read to enjoy it.

I think occultism is made of arbitrary studiables for recreational research. Occult texts are puzzle books for weird people. I usually prefer philosophy texts, but I sometimes read occultism. I still need to finish the one a friend of mine wrote. The fact that it's a PDF of private art is fun.

I do consider myself an antibuddha, but it's not a spiritual commitment. I'm not 'the' antibuddha except for effect. I'm someone who thinks some of the core precepts of buddhism are truth-reversed. Existence is joyous; desire is good; the self is good; self-concern is consistent with compassion.

Weird take: generating and disseminating secret knowledge for this purpose is not inherently evil, and could in theory be done to make people feel good, unique, and attached to their friend circle. I know occultists that don't seem to be running cults, and deep fandom lore is harmlessly similar.
