Registered for NFC! Gotta go with a backup hotel but that's fine. Now I just have to hope work doesn't get too busy during february <.<

Welp, EF is over. Final day of just idling around until leaving to the airport. It certainly was a time, not sure if it was good or bad yet. Sure as hell wasn't boring.

Around the midway point of my journey to EF! I feel like I need 5 more cups of coffee.

It has been months since I've last managed to attend a gig. Decided to skip most festivals this year to focus on other stuff. BRHG was a jam though 🤘.

Final week before my vacation starts! It has been years since I've had a vacation that is longer than a week.

Raiva @raivalurks.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

Oh yeah, I might be attending Eurofurence after all. Figured this would be a good year to try it out. Gonna focus more on the smaller cons in the future though.

Finally back from Awoostria! Vienna was a blast! Got to meet some old acquaintances I haven't manged to catch before. Besides a few hiccups at the start the con went pretty smoothly. Unfortunately my social anxiety made me drink alone at the bar most nights after most friends had gone to bed.

Raiva @raivalurks.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

Maybe taking a 6am flight when you left the con at 2am wasn't such a good idea. What is sleep anyway.

020

Raiva @raivalurks.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

Managed to prereg yesterday, so now I have some time to explore the city a bit more! My legs are already hurting and the con hasn't even really started.

Raiva @raivalurks.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

A couple of week before Awoostria! I really wanted to find another con to go to besides NFC because I didn't want to wait a year to visit a con. I was also thinking of going to EF but I didn't really know anyone attending. I've always wanted to visit Vienna so that checks two things off :3

Visited a medieval festival today, unfortunately it rained almost the whole time I was there, but met some friends and enjoyed the food :3

My way of watching the hockey finals is just having my window open and deducting how well the match is going by the amount of yelling I hear from the outside. Works for any sport really.

I really need to upgrade my PC, but also trying to save for a suit. Why do I choose the expensive hobbies D:

Now that it's warmer again I love going to midnight walks, it's so calm and you can see all the other people who are also just enjoying their time and not hurrying anywhere.

I really need to attend more furry cons or events. Last year was pretty busy with all the festivals and events I attended, but only one of those was furry related. This year is starting to look the same.

Finally home from NFC! Going to continue my con diet and ordered a pizza and just gonna play some games with friends. I don't think I can handle being alone this evening.

Raiva @raivalurks.bsky.social · 23/02/2026

And so starts my trip back home. I had a pretty fun convention. I had a chance to meet new people and greet some friends. Sadly I couldn't see all the people I wanted to, but that's life I guess.
