Thinking about branding today. I’m starting with some jewelry display cards and redoing my logo text. I always felt the cursive was a little hard to read! And the blue feels a little more on brand than the previous pink. #smallbusiness #crafty #design #pdx

Trying out a new way to keep my plant pressings stored. I think I need to pack some more paper layers in there to keep them tight but this looks good so far. #botanica #pdx #art #handmadejewelry #crafty #witchy #witchsky

Some new pieces this morning. I think I’d like to further explore this cut in half frond design. I like it but I think I can improve it with some background colors or borders. What do you think? #craftsky #crafty #witchy #witchsky #pdx

Tried a couple different necklace chains to fit the set… I think the chunkier chain looks better but I’m still not quite sold. #handmadejewelry #craftsky #jewelry #pdx

Today it looks like the smoke is starting to get pushed east, but it’s too early to see big changes yet. Still gross outside. #pdx #pnw #fireseason

Did you know there’s a type of lavender called fern leaf lavender? I grow this from seed every year, and this year I’m pressing some for my resin work! #handmadejewelry #botanica #witchy #witchsky #pdx

Lastly, the colored beads! The crystals do appear to be glass and NOT acrylic, which is nice. No complaints. Multiple sizes not available in all colors. The stones? Low quality dyed. Ok for the price. 5/? #handmadejewelry #craftsky

Next: simple metal spacer beads. I actually don’t have much complaint here, other than it’s difficult to gauge the hole size sometimes. These seem great for the price and I would buy again. #craftsky #handmadejewelry 3/?

First up: Headpins. If I’m making earrings, I usually like the 2” flat end head pins. The ones I got will get the job done, but there were SO MANY bent ones. Straightening them out can sometimes weaken them. #handmadejewelry #craftsky

I used aquamarine, rose quartz, and white howlite to make this trans pride bracelet. I think the colors look pretty good but the blue is a tiny bit light. The search continues for the perfect stone. #handmadejewelry #pdx #craftsky
