Rain Valkyria @rainvalkyria.bsky.social · 17hReally enjoying what Knights of Guinevere is doing so far. Really interesting, beautifully animated, just the right amount of gore. Gwen herself is almost giving me Haruko at points? I'm really impressed and so happy it got picked up!static.klipy.comFLCL Anime Cute Couple MomentALT: FLCL Anime Cute Couple Moment 120

Rain Valkyria @rainvalkyria.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Nier fan base throwing a fit about the DBD costumes as though Emil doesn't have the literal highest body count in the entire series is hilarious. 010
Rain Valkyria @rainvalkyria.bsky.social · 06/10/2026This is absurd. Clearly Zestial has fucked everyone in Hell AT LEAST ONCE! He is NOT monogamous! 😡😡😡 120
Rain Valkyria @rainvalkyria.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Sakurai posted this and WHO KEEPS LETTING TARO SIT NEXT TO TOBY? This is DANGEROUS! Something really good could happen!! Can we really take such a risk!? 000
Rain Valkyria @rainvalkyria.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I would put Sinners and Jack and Oddfellow as a tie truthfully. Sinners felt short, and not as scary? As a film adaptation house it's excellent (though I miss more of the Chow family and Annie being featured, but not *terrifying*. J&O was stellar in every respect. House of the year imo. 010
Rain Valkyria @rainvalkyria.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Probably my bottom ranked is alien Abduction. It was good, but it felt just very classic in a camp way. Going into a barn and watching the family resist and whatnot. What I DID like was the use of scent effects in this house. It really smelled like hay in the barn!! 110
Rain Valkyria @rainvalkyria.bsky.social · 03/10/2026On HELLRAISER: I adore that they went with the original ones. The entrance into puzzle Hell was wonderful and I loved the variety of the cenobites. This house was really long though and there was a stretch of strobes that literally blinded me. So I missed a room and a half I think just from that.static.klipy.comHellraiser Pinhead: Explorers QuoteALT: Hellraiser Pinhead: Explorers Quote 110
Rain Valkyria @rainvalkyria.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I could see myself going to this event again in the future if they did something like Scream or honestly the most recent Nosferatu? And they continued to do creative clown zones? If they did another musician house I'm not saying it should be Ashnikko or Tech N9ne for sure but it would be sick. 110
Rain Valkyria @rainvalkyria.bsky.social · 03/10/2026The Nightmare Fuel show was also excellent for the portion of it I got to see, but unfortunately right after the sword swallower's set, there was a medical emergency of some sort and the show was canceled partway through. Great from what I saw though!! Support circus acts!!static.klipy.comMorticiaALT: Morticia 110
Rain Valkyria @rainvalkyria.bsky.social · 03/10/2026A note about the food: the Sinners' booth food being knock-off Flanigan's rib rolls made me SO HAPPY! It was so filling and satisfying compared to the usual theme park fare. Flavor was great, quality of pork was great, crunch was EXCELLENT! This is the one you shouldn't skip. So filling. 110
Rain Valkyria @rainvalkyria.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I loved Downtown Clown Town. Chance's show with the maniacs was so fun and cute!! I never thought original properties of the park would snag my attention, but it was such a sweet and playful break from the chainsaw sounds. I loved all the costumes and color choices. I hope they keep doing it.static.klipy.comPennywise the Clown in the SewerALT: Pennywise the Clown in the Sewer 110
Rain Valkyria @rainvalkyria.bsky.social · 03/10/2026We did: Hellraiser -> Jack and Oddfellow: Chaos & Control -> Sinners -> INVASION: Alien Abduction Axel got us passes for earlier entry so we got to hit Hellraiser + J&O before the crowds got really gnarly thankfully. Totally worth it! We wanted to hit Ozzy at the end but the wait time was insane🥲 110
Rain Valkyria @rainvalkyria.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Halloween Horror Nights successfully lured me out for the first time by the way. I just couldn't miss Sinners. Sinners is probably still my top favorite movie from the last five years. It was so fun!! Everyone did such a great job!!
