In case anyone is wondering what the artists without studios are up to:

Next to a natural light window, a dining room chair covered in a white blanket has a framed mandala artwork resting on it. On the dining room table is a digital camera, pointed at the artwork, using a TV remote to stabilize the lens.

A close up of the camera lens resting on the wedge style remote. This allows the lens to be pointed more up or more down.

Forcing myself to trust the process because I'm trying something new and it's not going how I expected it to so now my brain is trying to gaslight me into giving up BUT I WON'T #paint #artwork #painting #artist #physicalart #handmade #noaiart #creativity #exploration

Recent value and color studies I've done! Trying to get the creative juices flowing again. Anyone else hate calling it creative juices? Anyway, tag urself in the color study 〜(꒪꒳꒪)〜

From top left to bottom right there are sketches of cherries, a mushroom, an electric kettle, a clover with a little ladybug on it, and a back lit tulip flower.

10 amorphous blobs that have been given abstract faces and appear to be floating underwater.

Tried my hand at some window stickers today! When they're dry I'll update the finished product lol. I figured with the limited space where we live I'll relegate my seasonal decor to the windows 😅 #artist #crafts #crafter #maker #galleryglass #windowsticker #craftproject

Spring and Easter themed window stickers, waiting to dry. They include a daffodil, rose, lavender, blue flower, two Easter eggs, a bunny holding an Easter egg, a little chickadee, and a rainbow.

Everything actually turned out decent considering this was my first ever full garment from scratch. That is, until I painstakingly pinned and sewed the skirt on inside out and backwards 🥲 seam ripping time 😭 #sewing #artist #crafts #crafter #dress #fabric #seamstress #craftproject #sewingproject

Took about an hour and a half, but I finished my tote! I will add a lining next time I make one because this fabric frays so bad 😂 but my kid is having fun putting toys in it so that's a win 😛 #sewing #artist #crafts #crafter #maker #fabric #seamstress #craftproject #sewingproject

Sewing stuff today! Making a tote bag out of some pretty fabric that reminds me of this time of year. Trying to get back into the swing of things, and also I've never made a tote bag before lol #sewing #artist #crafts #crafter #maker #fabric #seamstress #craftproject #sewingproject

I probably shouldn't have been standing under a transmission tower but it looked so cool 🤷🏼‍♀️ #photography #photographer #picoftheday #streetphotography #artsky #artist #art #artwork

This is the coolest firework pic I've ever taken. I don't even try anymore because I know I won't top this 😂 #photography #photographer #picoftheday #artsky #artist #art #artwork

I spent half of yesterday staring, wondering what I was going to do with the background (I make these up as I go along) and the other half learning how to draw braids lol #artsky #artist #art #artwork #drawing #ink #coloredpencil #illustration #mandala #meditation #zentangle #witchsky #spirituality

A detailed hand drawn mandala with braided ropes and leaves behind it, framing it.

Progress since my post last night! I lost my compass so my circles aren't as clean as I like, but I think that will be less noticeable after I fill the background. #artsky #artist #art #artwork #drawing #ink #coloredpencil #illustration #mandala #meditation #zentangle #witchsky #spirituality

I feel like this is one of the most surreal pictures I've ever taken. Unfortunately it's a screenshot of a screenshot from a point and shoot because the original has been lost to time, but still one of the coolest images I have. #photography #photographer #picoftheday #artsky #artist #art #artwork

A picture of a grassy beach at night, with a moon in the dark sky in the background, but the foreground is literally up by the lights of the promenade and makes the whole scene feel like a movie set.

I heard we're doing a #portfolioday? I'm mainly an illustrator (digital/physical) and photographer. But Creativity is a wild thing and I go where she takes me 😌

4 examples of photography, and 5 examples of illustrations laid out in a 3 by 3 grid. The top row from left to right is a picture of a firework, a picture of a tree in a snow storm, and a picture of Mt Hood. The second row is 3 examples of black and white mandalas. The third row from left to right is a picture of gemstones surrounded by zentangles patterns, a photo of the beach at night lit up by street lamps, and another mandala in color.

I took this picture of Mt. Hood when I was in middle school before I had ever taken a photography class or heard about framing, and looking at it always reminds me that I've really been a photographer from the start 📸💕 #photography #photographer #picoftheday #artsky #artist #art #artwork

Mt. Hood's snowy peak framed by pine trees and underscored by a little peek at Lost Lake.

Gonna start sharing a little more of my photography on here as well 📸 This one was from a snow storm we had 7 or 8 years ago. One of my favorite shots. #photography #photographer #picoftheday #artsky #artist #art #artwork

A tree with no leaves caught in a snow storm at dusk, snow covered branches illuminated by a street lamp, bright against a darkening evening sky.

Listen, I love the way procreate can enable me to explore a mandala idea quickly, but building one on paper with a pen in my hand...that's where I get lost in it. W I S D O M #artsky #artist #art #artwork #drawing #ink #illustration #mandala #meditation

I actually made a piece this year all about that. It's called Surrender and part of the encoded message says "it doesn't have to be good it just has to be something." #artsky #artist #art #artwork #painting #painter #acrylic
