Cool list. I appreciate that my favorite game made your top 10 even though it's in 10th place.

Most gift cards expire after one year. So you may want to double check that. I would say that using a gift card violates a boycott. It's business as usual even if the money changed hands long ago.

Jessie Drake. She's Marvel's first out Trans character. She has only appeared in three comics. I'd love to see her get the chance to shine.

Amber Diceless. Dice hate me. It's mutual. Playing without randomizers is freeing.

Excellent thought. I'd love Sophie Campbell on Wonder Woman as long as she's up for an additional title. I don't want to lose her on Supergirl.

One nice thing is that DC trans characters have appearances outside the annual Pride specials. Viktoria October is in *Clayface: Celebrity Dirt* starting with issue #3. Dreamer returns in *Justice League Unlimited* #25 with a short story by Nicole Maines. Featherweight will return in *Batwoman*.

When I learned that Dr. Victoria October is in Clayface: Celebrity Dirt, I went to the comic shop, bought issues #1 & #2 and added Clayface: Celebrity Dirt to my pull and hold file. Dr. October is a great character. I'm really enjoying the comic.

Melcat is great. I order so many books from there. It's great for when I run out of stuff I want to read from my three local libraries.

Consider the Lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin. Loser lilies.

Totally agree. Jessie Drake, Marvel's first out Trans character (1988) has only appeared in three comics and the third was a Pride special. Escapade (Sheila Sexton) had a decent run as a New Mutant (8 issues) before disappearing behind a pay wall in the Marvel Unlimited only Avengers Academy.

Jessie Drake is a mutant and Marvel's first transgender character. Jessie has only ever appeared in three comics. Very few people have even heard of her and that's a shame.

I'd like to see what you could do with a Mystery in Space title featuring the non-Lantern space characters like Adam Strange, the Omega Men, Space Cabbie, &/or characters from L.E.G.I.O.N.

My dark horse candidate is the Duke of Deception. He isn't a character from classic mythology, but he's myth adjacent enough to stand up against Wonder Woman. His focus on lies is thematically opposed to Diana's devotion to Truth. A modern version could provide a serious challenge.

I never get the impression that Giganta hates Wonder Woman. Yes, she wants to beat Wonder Woman, but that's more because Wonder Woman is the best and a worthy opponent then any kind of enmity.

000

Rain of Terra (she/her) @rainofterra.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

I love Giganta, but I wouldn't want her to be Wonder Woman's archenemy. I feel like she would have to change a lot to fill that role and that we would lose the reasons why I appreciate Giganta in the process.

As a comic book reader, I enjoy Pride comics. We got some good ones this year. Public Pride events tend to be a little overwhelming. Noisy. Lots of people. As an older, sedate, trans woman I usually feel at least a little out of place at Pride.

John Byrne is the sort of writer who makes me glad for editors who will ask a writer, "What were you thinking?" And then send the story back for a rewrite. That needed to happen to him more often.

Voted. My write in option was *Scribbly and the original Red Tornado Ma Hunkel* It is a crying shame that we have never had a collection of all the Scribbly comics and the one collection we have had is long out of print.
