I'm fr starting to see managing myself as managing a machine. If: too much energy — Then: work out If: feeling low — Then: shower or eat fresh food If: anxious — Then: listen to music If: don't know what to do — Then: lay in silence until you figure it out

Finished the magnus archives a couple days ago and started immediately drawing fan art, god I love Jon as a character so much, there might be more tma art popping up soon... unfortunately I always seem to be late but tbh I normally only check something out after hearing about it in passing for years

got carried away with this one, but I decided that I wanted to approach my art in a different way

Every once in a while I'll get worked up about my art being ugly, do a couple studies to figure out what's wrong, and then like my art again until I forget what I learned and the cycle continues

Brought back my first ever OC (ofc warrior cats) from like 2014 and revamped 'em while keeping the whole cliche "my oc has a dark and evil side" thing cus its so nostalgic, and now I love them again last refs before artfight! now back into regular stuff

Team themed design of my sona for artfight! I've been wanting to make themed outfits/designs for a couple years now, but this is the first time I've gotten around to it

Another artfight ref! Quite proud of this one. Yes he is a minecraft OC, my avatar in my forever world that I ended up getting really attached to and have been working on lore for

I think I've gotten so used to using video games to unwind, that I actually force myself to play games even when I don't feel like it and end up dissatisfied

A sentiment I've had (and a wip)

Been having a lot of fun reflecting on and "theorising" about Mouthwashing, and it feels good after not having done that with any media in a long time. Also so much good fan art... I might try my own hand at some

000

rainnqu @rainnqu.bsky.social · 29/10/2024

Finally watched Mouthwashing. With the way my feed was going, I was going to be spoiled on the entire thing if I didn't do it today Might make fan art for it?

It's so incredibly, painfully evident through my writing that I'm a cautious & anxious person. I need to feign confidence so this fictional character of mine can live a better life

Finally made this jump after at least a couple of hours trying (such a long trek), this video showing the moment I found out there's a jump boost when throwing. I was a bit happy

Reading romance for legitimately the first time in my life because I keep wanting to write relationship dynamics in my stories but have no reference

I feel apathetic not having a lot of interests, but I can try this. Current: -Rain World -Minecraft -MC Life Series Historical (kind of old interests): -Don't Starve -Reverse 1999 -Wizard101 -Good Omens -Sweeney Todd -Crime and Punishment -Steampunk Passive (non-specific): -Art -Writing -History

Quick little thing that I will not post anywhere else, original by hsiang.arts on Instagram

000

rainnqu @rainnqu.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

Because I tend to treat every website I'm on like a portfolio, I think I'll treat this one more like an actual social media. I'll still post art as usual, but I'll also post games, thoughts, updates, and (maybe) my writing.
