iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

In 2025 it’s ok to show off things that You are doing to help the world. It’s not bad bragging. We don’t have enough proof that humanity is caring on our feeds. We need signs of life. Just make sure You don’t post photos of ppl w/o consent. Also get consent to give b4 assuming someone needs aid.

Lol come on Bluesky. I share one fully clothed outfit in basic normal lingerie that absolutely isn’t in a sexual post and covered everything… and You’re gonna label it “adult content”? I thought BlueSky was more relaxed than that. Bet there’s no “free the nipple” movement in here either. 😒🥶😄

I’m not gonna flee in 2025 from whatever the Trump admin brings. Let’s go! Ready to be steady, unwavering, and unphased. It’ll be our greatest era of unity, organizing, and growth ever. And we will thrive. In one way or another. We will thrive in paths that no law can dismantle.

Good morning! Seems the “ceasefire” deal is in full swing for Palestinians but nothing is certain with a transitioning administration in the USA. However we got tapped today regarding our preparedness for housing or evac guidance if the border reopens for people to leave. Scared to be hopeful?

Really proud of my little familiar here. Cat’s name is Mezcal. They were hit by a car a few months ago & we almost lost them. They just now have been reintroduced to the outdoors! At first Mezcal was very scared to step outside. But as the sun warmed their fur & birds sang I saw a sigh & a smile.

Trump seems to go where the wind, & and legacy blows. He just wants adoration and immortality. From buildings to steak companies. He wants his name immortalized. Long shot- have we tried offering him a trans flag colored sky scraper with his name on it in exchange for protecting our rights? 😄 1/

Nancy Made told a member of Congress to “Take It Outside”. During an exchange in Congress. That expression is a direct invitation to violence. And a lot of us may experience this for next 4 years. Bait. But don’t take it. They just want an excuse to harm us. Ignore these chasing chihuahuas.

For anyone who is afraid of the swiftly incoming TikTok Ban -this 270 day possible lifeline will give You time to systemically transfer Your community to another app. Hope it goes through for yall! I have TikTok but never used it because the algo is inconsistent. But I know some folx live from it.

I often flash my boobs like a passport to get past angry eyes in the women’s restroom. But boobs don’t necessarily make a woman a woman. So it’s annoying that that action seems to work 93% of the time.

I’m always surprised that people who are religious often can believe in spirituality which relies on ethereal beings, miracles, and belief based on feeling. Yet when it comes to the concept of gender they can’t imagine that as a spiritual practice- rooted in a personal relationship to the ether.

I know the world has several major issues & there’s a lot of suffering that should be heard & addressed. I also know You are a good person who cares about the pain of others. If You are having a good day- just know it’s OK be OK!! You’re not a bad person for not having a bad day too.

Solving world hunger won’t be a singular idea solution. It’ll take a lot of different ideas working together to address complex local and regional issues. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t start creating an index of visions! What’s one thing You think can help us lessen world hunger?

TikTok: Firm calls report of possible sale to Musk 'pure fiction' - BBC News

For those panicking about Musk by TikTok- I would also note that while it’s been mentioned in several locations. The official spokesperson for TikTok denies that this is happening. W/ internal individuals stating that the USA division of TikTok needs a liberal owner. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

bbc.co.uk

The social media platform has repeatedly said that it will not sell its US operation.

Elon Musk is now being considered to acquire TikTok to avoid the ban of it. Which would result in a product integration make TikTok the video platform for X. I predict YouTube to watch Meta squirm a bit but then do a super liberal campaign for YT Shorts & finally get it ahead as people migrate.

As I said earlier- despite all the oddsmakers and blogs saying it would be a blowout by the Vikings- the Rams won 27-9 in a crushing defeat. After flying 600 displaced LA survivors (and some of their pets) to the stadium, housing them and prepping a whole new stadium to play on.

Perhaps #carrieunderwood is performing at the #TrumpInauguration to send some subliminal messages. Dream Set List “Jesus Take the Wheel” -solidarity for us. “Before He Cheats” - self awareness for Trump. “Something Bad” -Foreshadowing “Undo It” - For Trump voters who will have buyers remorse.

Neat! We passed 100 community members on here! 😍😍 Thanks yall. I really was not looking forward to moving the community to a new space. But it’s encouraging that some folx came over already!

Now- if You are into sports I’m about to make a wild prediction about the #Rams vs #Vikings #NFL game tonight. Which is that the Rams will win. Never watched sports much. After a few warzone evac trips I was re-introduced as a therapeutic way to scream at something that wasn’t life or death. 🌱

One thing I’m noticing from the #TikTokBan debate is that there are a lot of loving, kind, gentle people with a passion for life. Intersectional in ways and inching through the galaxy. Who are just looking for home to land in that doesn’t have violent abusive visitors. Is that Bluesky?

Why Pigeons Make Bad Nests: A defense of pigeon aesthetics

A six-panel comic. In panel 1, there's a pigeon standing awkwardly next to a pile of sticks with two eggs on it, and the panel is titled "Why pigeons make bad nests: A defense of pigeon aesthetics." In panel 2, a pigeon sits on a pile of sticks: "Many people think that pigeons are bad at making nests. Here are three good reasons why pigeon nests look bad." In panel 3, there's "Reason 1: Some birds, like orioles, nest in tree branches, so they weave elaborate structures that can withstand the elements..." And there's a female Baltimore Oriole weaving an elaborate hanging nest in a silver maple tree. In panel 4, "...but rock pigeons evolved to nest in crevices in cliffs, safely tucked away." And there's a pigeon sitting on a nest in a hole in a cliff. In panel 5, "Reason 2: People domesticated pigeons ages ago. Pigeons didn't need fancy nests because they had human-built homes." A beautiful dovecote shelters a flock of pigeons. In panel 6, "Reason 3: Less time making nest = more time eating seed." A pigeon pecks a seed near its nest, and says "It's called math."

A bit of escapism for me right now is the series #TraitorsUK. Anyone else? We ARE rooting for Minah to win correct? (And for Leanne to get recruited 💅)

One beautiful thing regarding the response to the LA fires is the response has been overwhelming. Several orgs and collectives are closing acceptance of goods and volunteers for the moment. But as with many disasters- it’s week 4-8 cleanup that’s often neglected and dire! Reapply in a month ❤️ 1/2
