Like most Bluesky bots, Julie knew her killer. It was the Block button. (IYKYK)

One of those Julie bots driving the car with Bluesky in the front passenger seat, and the "Block account" button in the back seat without a seatbelt on.

Context: It's an image edit of the infamous UK PSA "Julie", where the titular mother drives her kids home from school, and is followed by a van. The ad leads the viewer into thinking the person in the van will murder Julie, only for an unrelated car accident to cause her son in the seat behind her, who isn't wearing a seatbelt, to crush her to death.

Yeah, something like that! Maybe the sprite of K. Rool with the furious expression was originally part of such an unused animation? (this is just me speculating) The concept art is interesting to see! There's certainly some cartoony stuff there, which matches his goofy-yet-threatening personality.

There is a single frame of K. Rool where he sports a furious expression on his face as he's about to use the blunderbuss. This leads into the animation of him hitting DK (or Diddy or Dixie) with the back of the blunderbuss, with the furious expression gone.

That's a good way of putting it. Both adaptations are different enough to justify both of their existences. As for the DVDs, I also have both films in my DVD collection after finding them in thrift stores. (long live physical media!)

It's interesting to see how split the consensus is of which film adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is the best one. The 1971 version is beloved for it's warmth and whimsy, while the 2005 one is praised for being closer to the original Roald Dahl book while also expanding on it.
