It is finally finished! When I first rode World of Motion at Epcot in '93 I was not expecting all the Marc Davis awesomeness. It was a favorite back in the day, that's for sure. You can see the failed prints in the back there.

We've never eaten there for dinner, just breakfast with characters. The food and service were very good. They were even able to accommodate us arriving early even with being busy. We could definitely tell, though, that they were short-staffed. Waiters were double teaming with tables and bar orders.

'You're On, Figment! Can a dragon be a star? Why not? In Journey Into Imagination, Figment puts on his top hat and tails to entertain us.' From 1982.

Question for my EPCOT aficionados @progresscityusa.com @tocpe82.bsky.social (and anyone else that might have knowledge): were educational booklets produced for other areas of EPCOT that were similar in detail to this one for The Land?

From the booklet, a page discussing The Land's Desert House.

The booklet also delves into the dining area of The Land pavilion as well as the Kitchen Kabaret attraction.

Front side of a postcard for Walt Disney World's EPCOT Center. Contains concept art for the Imagination Pavilion (top image) and the Journey Into Imagination ride (bottom image). The bottom image also shows Figment as being green. This was originally intended to be his color until Kodak, the ride's then-sponsor, requested a color change and he became 'royal purple pigment'.

"The journey begins as a dream-gathering expedition with Dreamfinder, who pilots a quirky 32-foot-long Rube Goldberg-like propellered and pulleyed contraption that snorts and clangs...while it sucks up rainbows...scientific and mathematical symbols, and such."
