Seeing a Myst reference in the wilds of my Emet-Selch feed bodied me out of my dissociative phone scrolling (affectionate)

This is very bad posing but it took me FOUR HOURS to catch this stupid fish for the stupid Minimog challenge this week. I wasn't doing anything wrong, RNGesus was not on my side. #ffxiv #ffxivfishing

It's so much easier to love something when you don't have little haters in your feed telling you it sucks. This is why I don't engage with FFXIV social media until I've finished base expansions and after each patch. Dawntrail was amazing, actually, and Wuk Lamat is my bff

Chel (MCH) has: 1) Created a localized bioweapon spray that causes massive internal hemorrhaging 2) Programmed her Queen to crack skulls like melons 3) Modified her Flamethrower to use Garlean-imported ceruleum, which burns hotter and for longer

It's still better to use the series function though! It's not about whether or not they work as a standalone fic, it's about making the site usable for readers

Every time a post of mine gains some traction on a social media site, I get lowkey terrified that someone's gonna come for my head

I just block those authors tbh, not bc they're bad but bc I want their fics out of my search results

#ffxivwrite people: Please stop putting your anthologies in a multichapter fic with a billion tags. It clutters results and sucks to sift through. Use the series function, that's what it's for!! #ffxiv #ffxivfic

You could argue that FFXIV and Warframe are similar bc they're MMOs, and NMS and Satisfactory are both survival craft, but those feel like really surface level similarities and doesn't get into the meat of why they're good.

Pages (she/her) @rainbowpages.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Thought about how I'd rank my favorite games (without repeating the same series), and they go thusly: 1) Final Fantasy XIV 2) Myst IV: Revelation 3) Warframe 4) No Man's Sky 5) Satisfactory Shit I don't even think they repeat *genres*.

Chel is: - Good at making electrical wiring using Ul'dahn Goldsmithing techniques - Really bad at anything Alchemy even though she's an expert Culinarian. You'd think the skills would transfer but they don't somehow - Currently learning how to melee fight as a Viper. It's slow going

See I get the feeling like it's a more complete world, though I do understand the lack of side content issue, I do miss that. Some of the DLC helps but it should NOT be that expensive holy shit

I know Scarlet and Violet got rightly ripped on, but I love it so much. Big sucker for a Power of Friendship story, the Legendary Quartet theme is the best legendary theme in the series, and I would ride or die for Larry #pokemonscarlet #pokemonviolet #pokemon

I didn't understand the Twilight Zone's "One for the Angels" until much later in my life, but it still evoked emotions I couldn't explain then. It remains my favorite episode of the entire show.

Good morning. Please, don't drop a fandom, a game you love, your stories or characters only because there are bad people here. Don't let them steal your joy! Keep creating, keep making community and be better. If you need to rest, do it on your own terms, but most people here are wonderful!

I know I'm never on here, but in light of the recent bullshit by the Fragments author: I am a queer content creator. I am trans femme and bisexual. What was said was incredibly bi-/panphobic and racist. Instead of apologizing, he quadrupled the hell down.
