For everyone complaining about the liquid concoctions you have to drink - there is a pill alternative! It’s something like 32 vitamin sized pills. You usually have to ask for it. Get your colonoscopies, they might save your life.

I found playing a game on your phone or reading while sitting up and wearing the cpap helped get used to it - the game distracts your brain, and sitting up feels less claustrophobic and easier to breathe? The fit of the mask can make a huge difference, too - some are much more minimalist.

You can try and support the plant by putting it in a tomato cage, tying it to a stake, or using netting but if the variety has weaker stems, they will probably still flop over (unfortunately). Some varieties just have stronger stems.

Don’t forget freezing (if you have space)! I eat frozen zucchini, squash, garlic, and beans all winter.

I forgot how much I liked this... And now I want $9 cereal. I feel like this should be a lot fancier to be $9

It’s about the same from when it hits a boil?

You can cook dried pasta in cold water instead of waiting for the water to boil first - just throw it in with salt and bring to a boil, then simmer.

Buttermilk comes as a powder in the baking aisle! Just add water. It keeps forever and is great in recipes.

It’s ranunculus season! I just love how romantic and long lasting the blooms are. These were all planted in October/November.

The haircut thyme makes great chop and drop! I’m not sure if it’s true, but I’ve heard some moths dislike the odor.

I planted a walkway area with ground cover thyme two years ago and it was a pain to keep it weed free while it established but it’s fantastic now! I have to give it an occasional haircut!

I invited her out for coffee at a coffee shop… turns out she doesn’t drink coffee or tea. She bought an iced tea and didn’t drink it at all. Our 5 year wedding anniversary is next week!

I tried red clover this year and am already regretting it - it’s thriving in the not to cold winter. I’ve done fava beans with success, and would be interested in trying daikon or mustard greens in the future.

Speaking as someone who came of age during 9/11 and the market crash, fantasy, sci-fi and romance were my balms from the very real-world issues I was also keeping track of at the same time. Sometimes you just want to curl up and enjoy the good side winning - or the girl getting the girl.
