The setup: Internet -> Hetzner -> Wireguard VPN -> Deutsche Telekom 5G (n1+b3+b20) -> Zyxel NR7302 on 6m high guyed tower on 60m high hilltop -> Ubiquiti Litebeam 5AC bridge -> Room 1104 -> Acer Vero W6m with OpenWRT -> 150m fiber / 5.4GHz wireless / 50m copper -> 7 times Cudy WR3000e with OpenWRT

Speedtest showing 164 Megabit per second download and 68 Megabit per second upload speed oder Deutsche Telekom 5G

Screenshot of the 4G + 5G cellular signal strength information table from the Zyxel NR7302. The signal levels were okay-ish. B20 SNR was bad because of the directional antenna picking up signal from too many neighbour towers. B3 and N1 SNR was good though, thus we got rather good data rates even at late evenings.

Screenshot of wireless link from hilltop antenna to the bedroom 1104. -58dBm signal, good for around 160Mb/s transmission speed.

Here a random pic of the eDrum kit that we use at many European pony cons. Its owned by Pony Events Federation, the group that organizes @galacon.eu and @everfree-encore.eu , and somehow it finds its way to surprisingly many european pony cons. So much, that some musicians just expect it to be there

The mentioned Alesis e-drum set with bass drum, toms, snares and cymbals.

When I booked my ticket for @everfree-encore.eu in december, I didn't realize that the Monday is a national holiday and thus I didn't order the "late departure" ticket add-on for staying one more day. So I just now booked that missing ticket. May this be a reminder for others to book the add-ons.

Screenshot of the ticket shop of the event, showing that a single Late Departure Add-On ticket was just now ordered and paid.

I am currently going through the HarmonyCon25 footage, and suddenly see the @riffponies.bsky.social pre-show video which they start playing when they are already 15 minutes into the video, and what the buck is that stuff? So random!

Sorry, but I have no idea what I am seeing here. It is a screenshot from some video where two animated ladies are dancing while wearing weird dresse and wearing baskets with various fruits as hats. The background shows some abstract patterns of leaves from palm trees and similar. The whole scene is drawn in an animatic style.

The last event on PonyStream ended like an hour ago and all the infrastructure is now deleted. Yes, all of it, including the loadbalancer, radio-relays, messaging infrastructure and so on. The loadbalancer had an uptime of 99.999% over the past 4 years - now its finally down. Permanently.

Meme, screenshot from the last Lord of the Rings near the end, when Frodo is sitting on a rock near the entrance to that very much active volcano. He looks totally done and tired and has some cuts. He says "It's done." which references that the evil ring was finally destroyed by melting in the volcano just shortly before.
Frodo looks like he is very glad it is finally over.

BroniesNL meetup

Two Rainbow Dash plushies sitting on top of a chair in the audience. They look lile they are also watching and enjoying the currently ongoing event.

Random picture during a panel. PonyCon Holland organizers are talking about how they organized the past conventions and in the background there is a projection screen showing some income and expenses numbers of PonyCon Holland 2023.
