Changed my MOT Small Tender Locomotive replica from light to dark grey like the original. Had to use alternate pieces for the handles due to dark grey 2921 pieces being overpriced on bricklink. I wish I did this from the start. I'll use the light grey bricks for another MOT Large Tank Engine.

Another update: Removed the 44728 bracket on the boiler, the front gold ring is now the 60474 round plate. Changed the smokebox handle back to the old one using the 6587 technic axle.

More modifications using the actual build of the set itself. I've made a new smokebox design and moved the chimney back a bit for the middle light to fit on top. Also gave the front the magnetic buffers #lego #legotrains #trains
