nlthb's a colony of bacteria!

it's nlthb! theyre a colony of psychic cyanobacteria-like creatures. their primary body looks like a bubble with a mouth, legs, and a long tail ending with a hand that has an eye in the palm. the bubble also contains a smaller creature inside with its own face, and stalk-eyes that extend from out of the bubble, forming a larger face with the bubble's mouth.

a garden in space 🛰️ a home for fairies 🦋

The Mobile Space Colony ARTRODUS, where the organization Aidek Biotechnologies operates from. It's a massive structure several miles across in each direction, with its most prominent features being a habitat dome at the top, and an array of gigantic solar panels extending out from the center like flower petals. It's currently orbiting the planet Alakinec, with the moons Aldana and Dinhett visible in the distance.

Halcyon comforts Cheri 🪶♥️

The taur-shaped neraphine Cyber Halcyon is comforting Cheri, the angelic being who's bound to an Exchikke construct as her vessel. Halcyon is sitting down and holding Cheri gently in her hands, her wings also folded around the both of them. Halcyon says "There, there... my radiant cherub. It's okay to have feelings. And to express them." Cheri is crying, while Halcyon is wiping away one of her tears. Cheri continues talking about her feelings at Halcyon's encouragement: "i'll never be anybody to any of them! they'll never see me as a person, just some.. thing!!!"

She was naturally born, some different species are already compatible like that. but biotech does make even more kinds of mixed species possible

nah this was wayy earlier when i still had some humans in my fiction, whereas by the time i started blob adventures that was already long since nyat the case anymore; nhimor mentioning humans is a reference to the audience, i think maybe humans are a kind of stock cryptid/alien design like a grey

aidek scientists i hadnt drawn in a very long time 🧪

three scientists from Aidek Biotechnologies. on the left is a grukainian-tconara mix with pink and brown fur, holding a holographic multitool. she's a senior engineer for aidek who helped design the artrodus colony and has worked to maintain it for decades. despite not looking particularly elderly, she is over 150 years old, thanks to aidek's own science.

in the middle is a jungle kitera with striped orange fur like a tiger, and bright green hair and crystals. the vines growing on his body have ragged leaves and red berries. he's wearing bright blue swirly goggles, and a long black coat. he's listed as a Bionics Expert, and an up-and-coming talent. i also note "last time i drew this guy i still thought humans existed lmao"

on the right is a unique spearhead (psionic squid drone), that acts as the remote body for one of aidek's senior biologists who is in suspended animation. they have multiple tendrils and two larger manipulator arms that end with vaguely finger-like appendages. The usual spiked part of the head is like a wide semi- hexagonal arrow shape with several protrusions, and with the center being slightly concave with multiple glowing red psionic focal nodes inside that look like gems or additional eyes.

okay but have you considered: the worms are Cops because they periodically report your transgressions to the gods in order to ensure your demise. acab includes the worms in your body that make you mortal

nah that's just the carrying case they were brought here in, they could come out if they wanted. also the nhimor in that capsule is an instance from syndomera whos also visiting along with nlthb, (compared to the other nhimors in the room who are living at the aidek colony)

youre constantly moving, theres somekinda nyandescript shadowbug enemies attacking & you fight back mostly by Steering your stampy/skittery legs toward them which have damaging hitboxes. also you can shoot firebreath Sometimes? you also keep getting Longer, and have to steer around your own self

one of the central mechanics was you could swap out what kind of legs you had on each Side of your model separately, & it would change your attack and movement *for that direction* asymmetrically? so in my dream the dragon had the default legs on one side, and centipede legs equipped on the other

a year and a half ago while recovering from a intense surgery i had some vivid dreams, in one of them i was at a arcade and played "Magma Dragon!", a game where you play as this thing stamping around some technicolor checkered orb planet & you had to avoid stepping on puddles of water which hurt you

the titular character of "Magma Dragon!" the video game invented my my dreams. she's a long, somewhat reptillian-shaped creature of made out of glowing magma with 5 pairs of legs in this picture. Her claws and armored horns are made of more solidified parts of her body. she has bright blue eyes and a big melty smile.

"... Because there is nothing in this world sharper than killing intent." #OC #wolfgirl #art #sketch

Red Seselia, a tall and imposing wolfgirl in a biker jacket with a buster sword, stands alone on the fifth floor of an empty parking garage. In front of her is a concrete pillar marked with dozens of nicks and scratches, and one single perfect slice bisecting clean through it just out of reach.

She is steeped low and forward, performing a draw-cut with her blade as her hair and her fur ignite alike in carmine color, billowing like fire. Finally able to master the technique that she once watched cleanly slash into this very stone, her devastating swing cleanly bisects the pillar and the entire background of the image along with it, including the distant full moon overhead.
All around her, a flock of ethereal, scarlet butterflies glow softly upon gently fluttering wings.

Hand-sketched, digitally edited and colored.

Spirit Sign 「Fantasy Seal」 Something to fire back at @sakurasanne.bsky.social because I can't accept free birthday gift art two years running ... Although, by comparison, I seem to draw Reimu more "Maiden's Capriccio" than "Eternal Shrine Maiden". I can't do Soft as well as she does okay ;w;

A hand-drawn, digital-colored sketch of Reimu Hakurei from Touhou Project, flying in front of the full moon and flanked on all sides by an arrangement of colorful bullets from her signature spellcard, Spirit Sign "Fantasy Seal". In one hand she holds the card, and in the other she has a set of sparkling needles between each finger.

memories of planet Maigoria 🐌🍄🔮

Scenes from the night-veiled marshy planet Maigoria. It's a remote world, situated the furthest away from the suns, which appear as slightly larger red and yellow twinkles amidst its starry purple sky. However despite this distance the planet's temperature is mild, its surface covered in thriving wetlands filled with plant life and large fungi, with fireflies buzzing about. Snail-like people called Conclainians live carefree lives here. Meanwhile in the nearby asteroid belt there's a high-tech outpost that includes a psionic weapons research facility. in one particular incubation capsule, an experimental bioweapon which would one day name themself Talmyr, is being observed by two silhouetted figures - a ploctite and a tconara. "those days, even the suns felt distant.", talmyr's voice narrates

seriously!! somehow it sounds like the literal Final Boss of Touhou as a whole,,, sure shes a actual god embodying of the final hope of the humans (who you probably *should* be on the same side of if u werent a literal pawn of the badguys in this story) but STILL why does it go so ridiculously hard

Here's my artfight attack for @raibys.bsky.social this year! Two bad bitches on a smoke break, 'cause they deserve it

Two animal girls sit on the edge of a rooftop under the pale pink sky of the Riftlands on planet Seht; Asteria Saiyek, a kitera from the Zoincailla system with blackish fur and red crystals and hair, offers a pack of cigarettes to Red Seselia, a wolfgirl in an open biker jacket and tights that towers over her in height.

Beach Sport!! 🏖️

Aeon and Asteria are in the void, in an area vaguely approximating a sandy beach. Water flows unnaturally in walls and swooping arcs in the background, against a distorted sky, where a huge primordial beast is drifting by in the distance. Both Aeon and Asteria are wearing bikinis; Aeon doesn't need to wear their usual helmet here in the void, and Asteria's wearing it instead. The two of them are playing an unknown beach game: Aeon's about to throw a beachball into the air, while Isotope prepares to hit it with a nail bat.

It's not enough to be against AI, you need to be pro art. You need to be a champion of the art you love, you need to share that passion and joy, and do what you can to support the artists who make it, because it's not enough to hate AI, to hate what it's doing to art and media; you gotta love.
