For a split second, due to a change I didn't know about, I genuinely wondered if my barber or someone in his fam might have been detained by 🧊. Not because I know his citizenship status (I don't), but because of how he could be perceived by masked federal agents. Thankfully, it was not the case.

I heard a pastor/theologian say something along the lines of "Faith that can't be examined isn't faith, it's indoctrination." It sends me back to times in Sunday school where an honest question would result in chastisement of some sort. Assumptions that the question came from a devious place.

Fully functioning in my other roles severely depletes my artist reserves, I'm finding. I haven't had the will to force myself to do so much as sketch in the past few months. I get inspired but not motivated to follow the inspiration through. Anybody know what I mean? Any suggestions?
