The game doesn't save at campfires, they only let you rest. Saving is only possible through the menu. The underworld dragon doesn't have a battle. I guess only screenshots would help 😅 Which campfire, which dragon, etc.

Bug hunting can be hard, I'd need more details of how to trigger it, exact locations, screenshots. Which dragon do you need to beat? There are two dragon battles.

I'd need to be able to reproduce the bug to fix it. I released version 1.01c two days ago, that fixes a bug triggered by full party cutscenes. Not sure if it's related to your bug, though.

The game should put you at your last saved location (save from within the menu). There is no code to or feature that puts you at campfires.

Good timing! Saves aren't backwards compatible with the old prototype, hope you don't mind starting again. 😅 You can hold the action button (e/x, depending on the control scheme) to speed up cutscenes and battle animations. Thanks for playing the game!
