An open door at the remains of Lincoln’s medieval bishops’ palace. In 1541 Bishop Longland hosted Henry VIII and Queen Catherine Howard at the palace. One of her alleged ‘indiscretions’ is said to have occurred here. #AdoorableThursday #tudor
