I love it when things come together like I want them to. Currently trying to setup a stream 'schedule' for the future and built a spreadsheet that automatically pushes the data into a calendar that viewers can import if they want to.

Even though I have done it dozens of times before I always get a little anxious when I open up my PC to change some parts. There is always that little me that is afraid to majorly fuck something up even if it's just upgrading RAM. At least I got to clean everything up in there if I am already at it

000

Ragnar Alvarr @ragnaralvarr.bsky.social · 01/10/2025

Shoutouts to Toshiba, my external HDD broke after a little more than a year but luckily I still had warranty on it. Sent the broken one back last Thursday and already got a replacement not even a full week later, I wasn't expecting that to go this smooth!

000

Ragnar Alvarr @ragnaralvarr.bsky.social · 26/09/2025

I was wondering why my RAM's almost maxing out constantly until I remembered that I only got 2x8 GB back when I assembled my PC since the 16 GB were out of stock. Time to upgrade!

000

Ragnar Alvarr @ragnaralvarr.bsky.social · 24/09/2025

Oh hey this thing exists as well, I completely forgot about that. My external HDD with the first 6 sites of my new video script just died so not only do I need to re-write everything from scratch again, I also need a new external HDD now. Great

Hi, it's me, I haven't posted anything in over a month again so here you go! I should probably add something interesting...uhm...new video will be released in roughly 2 weeks on August 22nd! Man I am really not interesting enough for this thing

010

Ragnar Alvarr @ragnaralvarr.bsky.social · 13/06/2025

It's been roughly two weeks again so I should probably post something here, it feels like I have way too little random thoughts to actually be active here

It's been another 2 weeks since the last post but today I actually got a new video to share! What would happen if Ichiban and friends would be raging alcoholics? Click the video to find out! youtu.be/lj4Qx98t7kU

I have been stuck in gacha hell with FFRK for years and after not playing any gacha ever since, this one might just pull me back in again. Will definitely test it out and see where it leads

Idk whether it's a genius idea or the worst thing I ever thought of but I will play through Persona 5 a total of 23 times using only a single arcana every time. Pray for my sanity since this is probably going to take me like 2 years to finish! Here is the first arcana run btw! youtu.be/P_N9H5VIkCo

Healing is overrated so I tried beating Persona 4 Golden without any of it. New Video coming on Friday, early access for Channel Members and Patrons earlier today! Huge shoutouts to the incredibly talented @lycel.bsky.social for the thumbnail!

So after years of supposed leaks the Switch 2 announcement just gets dropped like this? No promo nothing? This has major *sigh we're getting tired of the speculations so here you go I guess* vibes which I personally find hilarious

Out with the old - in with the new! My Blue Yeti served me well for 10+ years but at this point it was finally time to upgrade. The SM7db is incredible but now I actually gotta educate myself on how to get the best audio out of an XLR mic

Christmas is over and I feel like I've gained 10 lbs the past few days. So...much...food...definitely need to get back into my old gym routine again and clean up my diet or else I'll be a super heavyweight by the time next year.

Ragnar Alvarr @ragnaralvarr.bsky.social · 24/12/2024

Post you first RPG: In Europe a lot of games never made it to here so we only had a handful to choose from. This was the game that made me fall in love with the JRPG genre though. I might have to play that one again at some point.

Got a fun challenge video in the works that I'm super excited about. Thank you @windupherogo.bsky.social for the two alternate thumbnails! Which one do you like better?

Newest video will go live this Friday at 6 pm CET/12 pm EST, with Channel Members and Patrons getting 48 hour early access as always starting tomorrow! We will try to beat FFVI without gaining a single point of experience! Huge shoutouts to @windupherogo.bsky.social for this incredible thumbnail!

Newest challenge run is finished! Now comes my least favourite activity - trying to squeeze 40+ hours of game footage into a 1h something long video, yaaaay!

Ragnar Alvarr @ragnaralvarr.bsky.social · 06/12/2024

A couple of weeks ago I was a guest on @tantacles.bsky.social channel when several Final Fantasy Youtubers tried to test their knowledge about the game. Needless to say, it went pretty much as expected! Check the video out if you need a good laugh or two!

As an incredibly uncreative person I am so glad I can outsource my thumbnails now. Easily the weakest part of my channel.

Ragnar Alvarr @ragnaralvarr.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

PS1: Final Fantasy VII PS2: Final Fantasy X PSP: Final Fantasy 4 (I liked TAY, fight me) PS3 and Vita: Never had one PS4: Persona 5 (Royal) PS5: Persona 3 Reload & Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth (which I should still finish at some point)

Ragnar Alvarr @ragnaralvarr.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

About halfway through the game and script of my next challenge run and I am already at ~45-50 min. This might become one of the longer videos again.

020

Ragnar Alvarr @ragnaralvarr.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

The P5R Gun Only Challenge was my first video that took off big time and just quietly crossed the 700k view mark yesterday. It is by far my most viewed video and to this day continues to get ~500-600 views daily. Deciding to focus more on Youtube back then was definitely the right call :D

020

Ragnar Alvarr @ragnaralvarr.bsky.social · 19/11/2024

Beating a boss by setting up for 30s and then literally not touching the controller for 3 hours - gotta love the sheer stupidity (and creativity) you have to come up with during challenge runs

120

Ragnar Alvarr @ragnaralvarr.bsky.social · 16/11/2024

After the run is before the run. I know I said that the P5R No Healing Challenge will be my last video of this year but by the way things are progressing, I might just be able to squeeze out another video in late December. Wish me luck!

Not gaming related but I find it funny when an upcoming boxing fight incorperates more elements from pro-wrestling than a lot of actual wrestling program nowadays
