Broly was looking out at the sprawling city before them, until the kiss landed on his cheek. That made his head turn immediately looking down at Esme. Lacking as he was in any kind of social setting, he still understood the implications behind Esme's words.

He's not focused on what Esme is doing, but moreso the fact he's here. A hand moves out, and suddenly his fingers are moving through Esme's hair, flattening down the parts flying loose from wind.

He watches as Esme begins to take out things from the basket, and he can't help but sit a little closer. Even to him, the wind up here is slightly chilly. "I..." He thinks for a moment, shaking his head with a small sigh. Then he looks at Esme, smiling slightly. "I don't know. You pick."

He seemed confused initially before realising that he was infact the one with Esme, and fell silent once more as he continued shadowing the other. The only difference was a redness appearing on Broly's neck and ears, the thoughts of what other people were saying being pushed far away.

His rest would soon be interrupted however as a shimmering portal opened before him, and the Saiyan rose to his feet almost immediately, eyeing the doorway, hands clenched at his sides. Whatever came through was likely to face his immediate wrath.

When Broly hit the floor, the heat from his impact immediately turned the rock below into sand, and that sand into glass. He was in the fetal position, grasping at his head, clawing at his hair as the pain returned so soon after his fight on Earth.
