It was too long and I'm processing and healing and too tired to shorten it.

My surgery went well. I'm on day 3 of recovery.

I still have openings in my editing and beta reading calendar.

The world is depressing. I'm trying to figure out how to survive and keep a roof and food on the table. My kiddo doesn't deserve going without.

I should be writing but so much huge emotional shit has happened in the week leading up to my surgery that I'm just a ball of tears. I don't have much hope atm. Yet somehow, I persist.

My daughter moved out. I had all the meetings today finalizing stuff. I just woke up, I was wiped out. I'm really hungry but I'm also just completely zapped of energy to move or do anything. My head is hurting, I hope it isn't a migraine. Buy me & thing 3 dinner? Lol

Before the Coffee Gets Cold & Tales from the Cafe 4/5 ⭐ The first was emotionally heavy but so wonderful. The second balanced the emotionally heavy parts with moments of levity, perfect. I am really enjoying this series. Slice of life anime/manga + magic. Heartwarming.

Stolen Tongues 4/5 ⭐ It was a great horror read.The tension kept you locked in. Decently paced. Breadcrumbed most plot twists perfectly, others I didn't see coming. It lacked real terror for me. I love the creatures they made up for this story. Super creepy and mysterious.

I feel very sad and discouraged. I keep getting solicited for work (ghostwriting and proofreading/editing) that doesn't exist. I don't know if that means I'm good at what I do or think I'm desperate enough to fall for it. It feels like I'm not taken seriously and won't find work

Hey question. What would be the best platform to market myself as an editor to get work? I do all but acquisition. My reviews have said that I am thorough, kind in my delivery, and that I've helped them learn and grow as authors. I have worked with British and American Authors.
