i did another pass at the labels so I didn’t have to draw stuff by hand and now they reference the album that is at least somewhat recognizable 🤷🏾

the best part of my now annual stone fruit jamming session is that I get to make a label that references a thing that most ppl I am giving the jam to do not care about

A label for a ginger peach jam in the style of a The Moldy Peaches album cover.

The Moldy Peaches album cover that is not even their popular album but a rarities compilation

I have wanted a physical copy of this record (that is not any streaming service) for so long that I made a tiny version of it for a room box. A+ Christmas present from my husband.

I just realized I haven’t posted any dollhouse progress pics yet. I was trying to go for a Sea Ranch vibe but we will see how it ends up.

Back view of a three-story dollhouse showing interior rooms. Some of the rooms have been painted with a white primer and have an index card template on the floor. In the center of the dollhouse is a white chimney. To the left there is a bathroom with finished walls, floor, and ceiling.

Close up of first-floor fireplace. The fireplace has been finished to resemble stucco. The opening is a dark wood and the mantle is white stucco. Next to the fireplace is a staircase that leads to the second story.

Work in progress bathroom. Two of the walls are painted green. The back wall and ceiling are covered with dark wood panels. The floor has been finished to mimic concrete. On the left wall there is junction splice to carry electricity to the house for lighting.

i have been fixating on the plum tree in my backyard for several months now and the efforts of my obsession have finally come to fruition

Baked plum torte resting on a wood kitchen block

"Ingredients: Plum, Sugar, Lemon Juice, Sumac Shelf stable for up to 18 months.

Started scratch building my first miniature room. The scale is a little fucked in places but it’s been a pretty fun project so far.

Storefront of miniature room. A wooden door, outlined by pale pebbles, is slightly ajar. Above the door there is a gray corrugated awning with a blue address sign hanging from it. The wall is painted to look like adobe and is covered in moss.

Angled view of the inside of the miniature room. On a wall, tiny vinyl records are leaning on a shelf. On the adjacent wall there is a ceiling length map. In the corner there is a blocky sectional couch with tiny pillows and a floor rug. Slightly out of frame there is a stage, a bar, blue stools. The floor is covered by dark brown wooden planks.

Close-up of the bar. Tiny tarot cards are scattered on the countertop. In the background there is a mirror and a stool on the stage.

Outside wall at the back of the miniature room. There is a wooden circular window near the top-left and some moss near the roof.

One thing I’m messing around with is creating a basic wardrobe catalog so I stop impulse buying stuff that doesn’t fit with the rest of my clothes or like looks identical to something else I already have

A screenshot of the mobile Anytype app. A dashboard view of tops in the wardrobe. There are entries and pictures for an Italian collar shirt, a polo sweater, and a colorful camp shirt.

first fun home improvement project complete! and now we only have an entire living and dining room worth of wood to go 😮‍💨

Before picture. Unfurnished room with a fireplace between a built-in writing desk and bookcase. The fireplace, fireplace mantle, writing desk, and bookcase are painted white.

After picture of a close-up of the fireplace and mantle. The mantle has been stripped of white paint. The wood stain is red mahogany. The fireplace is still painted white.

After picture of half of a furnished dining room. The wood mantle above the bookcase has been stripped of paint and is stained and finished. The stain is red mahogany. The bookcase is still white.
