It's no good just telling our loved ones that we love them. They need to experience love from us over and over and over. Love is an act of care. Our interactions are opportunities to demonstrate our love on a daily basis. #parenting #fatherhood #parentsky #familysky #momlife

In England, dads/partners are (often unintentionally) excluded from conversations about breastfeeding - but research shows that support from partners is SO IMPORTANT. So this leaflet for dads and partners, made for Merton, is my small contribution🛟: dx.doi.org/10.13140/RG.... #publichealth

Kids can have an entire room full of toys, but it’s always the cardboard box and a forgotten spoon they fight over. What’s the most random thing your kids have turned into a toy?

There is so much wisdom in this #fredrogers quote. #parenting #dadlife #momlife
If you grew up with our Neighbourhood, you may remember how we sometimes talked about difficult things. There were days... Even beautiful days.... That weren't happy. In fact, there were some that were really sad.

Well, we've had a lot of days like that in our whole world. We've seen what some people do when they don't know anything else to do with their anger.

I'm convinced that when we help our children find healthy ways of dealing with their feelings - ways that don't hurt them or anyone else - we're helping to make our world a safer, better place. Fred Rogers.

Children are capable of so much when we give them the tools and space to explore. A little reminder for the day: let them try, let them fail, let them grow. What’s a small independence win your child had recently?

BFCM weekend is coming to an end, a time when so much focus is on buying. It’s worth pausing to reflect: what do our purchases say about the values we want to pass on to our kids?
