Ginkgo cups! Really pleased with how these turned out. The little one just sold at a market on Friday.

Laurel @radishforest.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

For a little while I was making these dudes (I called them sneefters), but they kept breaking or falling over in the kiln. Maybe sometime I'll try some more that are sitting like the strawberry & crying ones

I've been severely neglecting this account (frankly don't love the twitter-like format but I do keep meaning to be better about posting art in various places), but I made a lot of art last year and I'll try to put it up. Best place to follow me is always tumblr, though: radishforest.tumblr.com

finally some new items (and some old items too!) in the shop at chicorystart.net #art #needlefelting #fiberart

Three tiny needle felted houses standing together. They each have one big eye and are staring directly at the viewer.

I finally put the fortune houses up in the shop (chicorystart.net)! Handmade #needlefelt boxes containing a set of seven charm tickets with unique little drawings on each one. #art #sculpture

Three needle felted boxes shaped like houses. Each house is decorated in a specific theme: Sun, garden cottage, coral. Strewn around the houses are three ribbons of tickets. Each ticket has a unique drawing on it and a charm phrase like, "Lucky Day" or "ONE Prophetic dream."

in the shop! this design is available on various light and dark t-shirts. decorate your body with a picture of a creature decorating their body. chicorystart.bigcartel.com ! #artshop #art

A digital drawing of a small home. The only colors are black and a light purple. A beautiful giant tentacle monster reaches its arms out of the roof of the house. Some tentacles are reaching for stars, and one is holding a flower. Out of the front of the house, the monsters eyes look out. One eye seems to be reaching out with a shadow arm and making a flower grow in front of it. vertical text reads: My body my home. Horizontal text says: Chicory start with a smiley face.

The creature house design printed in the middle of a white t-shirt. It looks cool!

Unicorn cup finished!!! I got so used to the pastel look of the purple underglaze while I was working on it that it looks weird to me now that it's dark, but I'm still pleased with it. #ceramics

I started off the new year by making extremely small ceramics. These are intended for part of a diorama I'm making for an art show in February...!

I don't have enough art (except for ceramics...) to do an art vs artist, but I do have this shitty photo of a shitty test print of a linocut I did earlier this year. Maybe next year I'll do a not-shitty print of it, wouldn't that be something

crooked photo of an imperfect print that says "evening botanist" around a clump of flowers, with a night sky background.

If you see this, post a unicorn you created. WIP ceramic cup with underglaze painting! Hard to photograph the whole thing, though, lol

i've had this account for so long but got caught up worrying about how to make a good introduction post... so rather than delay any further i'll just show the most recent thing i made #fiberart #needlefelting

a small needle felted house with tentacles bursting out of the roof. a single eye looks out of the front door. there's also a cat in the corner of the photo being nosey.

the same needle felted house seen from a different angle. another eye is peeking out of the back window. the tile and moss details of the roof are shown.

Oh hey, I've barely posted here because I've been intimidated about starting fresh on a new site... How about an art thread?

this little guy was in progress for a long time (mostly sitting around, 3/4 of the way done...), so I finally buckled down and finished him. he's got toe beans! #needlefelting

I finally sucked it up and joined... I was resistant because I was not thrilled that it's just twitter re-skinned, but I've been missing seeing posts from various friends and artists who aren't on other sites.
