If you’re producing proprietary software, just be mindful that since most of these LLMs were trained on OSS repositories you do run the risk of having GPL-derivative code in your AI-generated software. You can’t just look for “bad code”.

I won’t say who I work for, but it’s a major software company; policy is that we should use AI for everything except production code that will get shipped. The reason isn’t that the code produced can’t be good, it’s because the code produced could create code licensing issues.
