iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

When ever I see a reel of some kind that is trying to instill old school gaming nostalgia, the immersion is completely ruined when they whip a PS2 slim.

Radiooptimism @radiooptimism.tv · 08/10/2026

Ever think about why someone decided to call it a "knee"?

Radiooptimism @radiooptimism.tv · 08/10/2026

To be fair, I'm ok with "weirdos". I'd rather be that, than just another mundane brainwashed sheep.

I’ve taken up using obscure and/or old “sayings” either from the 90s or just shit I made up, to my 21 year old daughter, to see if anything I say either catches on or starts to annoy her. Today, I just acknowledged everything with “word”. Next week, I’m just gonna start saying “yaw?”

I only have two words for today; Breakfast Burrito

I do the same thing going up the steps; I use my toes and front part of my foot at the edge of the stair. I like to think it's a skater habit.

I’m old so Trigun and Evangelion are always watchable.

Does anyone else grab the edge of stair with their toes, when ever they go down stairs? Just me?

… through the entire game. Maybe a dozen or so different enemies (discounting bosses) in total The aesthetics of the game were top tier. Visual story telling at its finest, and the platforming grew on me once I obtained new movement skills Overall, 7.5/10. Not worth the $60, but worth the 30 hours

Finished #ControlResonance Without having played the first Control, story was perplexing. Combat was pretty fun, and really could use some more flexibility. The landscapes were awesome and fun to explore. They really dropped the ball on enemy variety, because I fought a lot of the same ones…1/2

It’s hard to find unique and interesting ways to keep people engaged. It sometimes feels like you need a whole production team just to manage it when you figure it out too.

Thought for a second this was brunette Sadie Sink.

I have those exact same little stands for my plants.

I miss when going to gaming conventions was feasible.

I’d prefer your level of unhinged, as much as I hate to admit it.

Why did you create a #bsky account? What was it that you hoped you could accomplish when you first made one, and how has that changed since?

Am I the only one that remembers the late 90s/early 2000s in a orange hue? I feel like all my memories have a soft “orange” color draped across them when ever I try to recall one from that time frame.

Made 2am grilled cheese with sourdough just to suddenly feel nauseous and not want to eat anything. Come on, man…

Radiooptimism @radiooptimism.tv · 27/09/2026

Count Chocula is the only thing that wills me to stay alive until October every year, and I’m not afraid to admit it.

Radiooptimism @radiooptimism.tv · 26/09/2026

Control: Resonant so far is not bad. Combat does feel a bit shallow, not enough to push me away, but at the point in the game I am at, you only get 1 primary weapon, a secondary and 3 abilities. It would really open up the combat feel if we could switch between main weapons on the fly.

What I truly think is going on, is that these companies get these wild ideas that they know will be universally hated, and they bank on us not doing anything about it, and only back pedal when we actually do revolt against them.

Radiooptimism @radiooptimism.tv · 24/09/2026

Right? It's like these companies just don't want us to buy things from them anymore.

Microsoft saw Sony destroying any good capital they had with their customers and said "Hold me beer, I can do worse"

Right? We got some bangers on the way. New @eleventhhour.games season on 10/1, then @motiontwin.com is making a new Castlevania, set for 10/15.
