NO ONE SPEAKS OF LOVE ANYMORE... An excerpt from NO WAY HOME... Was looking back on this experimental film i made in 2010 and realized how it was still relevant to the world we're facing...

I'm a Scottish artist and today is the Scottish Cultural Sector Day of Action for Palestine and Lebanon. This is their statement here, and some actions taking place. For my part, just now, I'm going to make a thread of some fundraisers you can support:
A statement explaining Scottish cultural organisations are holding a day of action in support of Palestinian and Lebanese liberation. They call on fellow organisations to speak out, to amplify Palestinian and Lebanese culture and voices, and to boycott Israel. They also call on the Scottish Government for a full arms embargo immediately.A list of the signees: (The first one has a special character I'm not sure how to get but it looks like 16NSt?), Agnew Lane Community Garden, Arika, Arts Workers for Palestine Dundee, Art Workers for Palestine Scotland, Brch. Creative Homeware, Broadside, Calton Books, Collective Text, Deveron Projects, Disobedient Magazine, Dream Machine Productions, EMBASSY gallery, Exhale Group, Falastin Film Fest, Forgan Arts Centre, Gelatin Print, Generator Projects, Glasgow Art Map, Glasgow Seed Library, Glasgow Short Film Festival, Glasgow Zine Library, Good Press, Govan Project Space, K U D I R K A, Lighthouse - Edinburgh's Radical Book Fair, MUCK (Must Use Critical Knowledge), Offline Glasgow, Panel, Plant Grow Share, Radical Glasgow Tours, Radio Bueno Vida, Rhubaba Artist Run Initiative, Rumpus Room, Saffron Cherry, Scottish Artist Union, Scottish Working Class Network, Solidarity Screenings Glasgow, Strathspey Storywalks, Sumud, Take One Action Film Festivals, Volk Gallery, Welcome HomeA list of actions you can take - joining local actions, writing to MPs, fundraising for Palestine and Lebanon (mentioned are The Lebanese Solidarity Collective (chuffed.org/project/lebanonsolidarity), Fazaa (@fazaah.rm) and The Popular Resilience Campaign (@ettihad_lb)), calling for the Scottish cultural sector to speak out, taking part in solidarity-focused workshops (mentioned is www.makan.org.uk/workshops), and making PACBI artwork and posters.A list of actions taking place around Glasgow and Edinburgh. I don't think any of my Bluesky followers are in Scotland and I don't expect this to have massive reach so I won't type the entire thing out, but there's a court protest, a work and university walkout, Lighthouse Books have an event on, and Glasgow Zine Library have an event on.
