My friend and fc mate Clyp attempted to teach me how to tank in trials when I was new to DRK on Titan. I ended up in a trial by fire when he suddenly got OBLITERATED #ffxiv

A four-panel comic depicting characters from the game Final Fantasy XIV in a cartoony style.

Panel 1: The viera, Clypeus, speaks to the miqo'te, R'ackiera, about tanking. "I'll main tank! You won't even have to do anything." R'ackiera sweats nervously.

Panel 2: A massive fist slams down over where Clypeus was standing with the sound text 'BAM'. R'ackiera jumps in surprise.

Panel 3: Clypeus lays dead on the ground, with his health bar showing 0 hp. R'ackiera covers her mouth in worry while the arrow indicating an enemy target chance appears pointing towards her.

Panel 4: The boss, Titan, stands ominously as a shadowed figure over R'ackiera, who is now the only remaining tank. 'DOOM' is written behind Titan in dripply letters. R'ackiera trembles, mumbling "Gods help me".

Bloodless alt! I spent a ton of time on the details that got blurred out or covered in gore, lol.

A blue dragon - Fathom, left - rears up in the sky as he roars at an approaching red dragon, Pathogen - right. The ground races by below, a forested valley with a river snaking into the distance.

"A Bloody Rivalry" - Gift for @second-sol.bsky.social for finishing the final draft of his novel, Here Be Dragons (Bloodless alt below!)

A blue dragon - Fathom, left - rears up in the sky as he roars at an approaching red dragon, Pathogen - right. Both are littered with bleeding wounds from claw strikes and bites, their own talons and teeth covered in each other's blood. The ground races by below, a forested valley with a river snaking into the distance.

Forgot to post the original from 2016 and also a version with spots - Vashar has spots, but I excluded them because I didn't like how they looked here lol

Redraw/reimagining of a piece from 10 years ago. While back then I drew a friend's character Trikoz, this time I've drawn my own Vashar, the predecessor to the same temples that Trikoz would come to claim years later.

A long-awaited cover commission for my friend @second-sol.bsky.social for the first book in his Emergence series, Here Be Dragons. You can read it on Royal Road (link in replies); he is uploading the rewritten chapters every Monday and Thursday!

Rackiera's new ref, also made last year as a companion to Areikzar's ref. This is the first major change to Rackiera's design since... well, ever, for this level of change - but the last 'bigger' change I did was over 10 years ago.

I'm really bad at uploading art and @ferrety-lixciaa.bsky.social was bullying me for not doing it, so here's an updated reference sheet of my OC Areikzar from a year ago or so! I redesigned her and I'm really happy with how she looks now.
