I would try that but it's in a tall amphitheater. I'd need scaffolding to reach! But also may make it less sensitive (I know perchlorate + sugar is okay there, I triggered alarms elsewhere with that).

Just BTW Tumbler Ridge is in BC Canada. Doesn't happen much here and the fact her account was suspended over the content but no authorities contacted deserves pause. Similar to when the mosque shooter in NZ live streamed for 17 minutes before it was shut down.

Yeah that's fair, I know for the vacuum since I use Brandtech I just specify the holes to punch to attach the gasket. I could do something similar to have an opening left to pass the tubing then maybe silicone it in?

That's my thought too? I'm trying to think whether I need to pay to add pass through ports or if we can just DIY. The real scrappy option is to go through the front and tape along the way but I don't like having that much exposed lines for potential damage.

Question for #ChemSky: Instead of using tap water for my labs I use recirculating tap water. If doing this in a standard fume hood, would it work to run the lines through the utility shaft and then drill a hole in the interior access panel to pass the tubing through?
