I had to guide my spicy boy,George,over the rainbow bridge last night. He went into acute kidney failure after an infection and they shut down.He had chronic kidney disease so I had been preparing myself for a few years. He died 2 years and 1 day after his little brother, Rico. August sucks.

Today would’ve been my bestie’s 106 birthday. The past 3.5 years without her have been harder, but I always knew it would be harder once she was gone not matter how much time passed. She is proof that soulmates don’t have to be romantic partners. I hope we get to live more lives together, bestie.

I work at a non-profit providing grief therapy and peer support to kids. I have started grant writing so I can expand our children's program. My Executive Director and I just decided to not apply for any federal grants because we're afraid they'll get pulled but, sure, Kegseth needs a vanity table.
