Having a mastery of the English language to influence others effectively is such a powerhouse skill. I’m actually excited about prioritizing my own professional development in this.

Outside of the Target Boycott, I still don’t think I could ever convince myself to spend money on Kate Spade trash bags.

It’s official! I’m returning to my love for writing that I had as a kid/teenager. I tried to do a YouTube channel and as much as I do like video editing etc it doesn’t give the joy that I get from writing. Blue Sky has been ok, but I HATE the character limits.

As an already naturally full lipped African American woman, I can’t describe the shock and horror that I felt when I accidentally tried a lip plumper lip gloss for the first time 🥴 I definitely looked like a walking caricature.

My birthday is in two weeks, and I really don’t feel like trying to figure out how I’m going to celebrate. I’m grateful for a new year of life but I don’t feel like using the mental energy to plan something.

Tea Review # 25 Chai Tea N More’s Adaptivi-tea Back with another tea review and this time we’re exploring this tea that is advertised as a great go to for when you’re feeling under the weather. Let me tell you about this tea from this woman owned tea brand 👇🏾

The best part of working out at home is Gus trotting over to get some rubs, neck stretches and maybe even a toy for me to throw. He always walks away to give me space to do my next set but comes right back when he sees me resting 🥹 (and yes he desperately needs a haircut 😅)

As much as I love facilitating professional development courses, my poor introverted brain is so dog tired at the end of it from being “ON”. 😅 But at least my participants enjoyed our Navigating Difficult Conversations course this morning so that’s all that matters 🥰
