I’m going in November! My University has a celebration of the large number years it’s had a school in Venice and it was a choice of events at The Biennale - scuola Grande Di San Rocco or Frari! So despite reading @pgjonesvenice.bsky.social book which opens at a soirée at Scuola Grande…Biennale won!

When I studied there it was the summer through to December - it’s my favourite time too. Gradually slipping into winter and the fog!!! My goodness some of the fog was amazing - felt like being in the Death Like Venice set - keep taking the photos- am loving them!

In our area we get to do this all again in a year voting for a shadow council for the new unitary authorities! I’m hopeful that a year is enough for people to see sense and for those new councillors to realise that they have work and responsibilities - and they may not wish to continue!

Much talk at Carrow Road about who’s been released from contracts! It did make me laugh that the Barclay unfurled a banner stating “We followed. You fought. Thank you!” Remembering the earlier part of the season where the crowd was incredibly hostile! Short memories amongst the Canary faithful! 🤨😂
