💦☠️ Last year, all of the NZ Govts’ #coal earnings were spent treating damages at a single mine run by #BathurstResources 🌏 We all deserve to live in a safe climate. That is why we are doing everything we can to stop this mine @350nz.bsky.social #ClimateCrisis #Denniston

🤑 💰 Well we got the response we expected from the Hon. Shane Jones, Minister for Resources. We are here to take a stand against the exploitation of our beautiful whenua for private profit, something that Jones and this govt are so keen on @350nz.bsky.social #ProtectDennistonPlateau #endcoal #nz

Wellington District CourtOrange background image of a person, Michael, smiling.
Text reads - I take action for the climate because it's one of the most meaningful things I could possibly imagine doing with my life. Taking action connects me to a wider world of people and places and animals that I love. I take action on the climate because I can. When I compare my circumstances and my life to those of many other people in Aotearoa and in other parts of the world I have some privileges and freedoms and advantages that I try not to take for granted. I want everyone to be free and safe.

When one cruise of the Silver Muse emits 7,000 tons of carbon, ultimately killing 1-2 more people from the #climatecrisis it’s a no brainer, we don’t want cruise ships in Piopiotahi / Milford Sound! 💚 Sign our petition, donate or join us to support our kaupapa climateliberationaotearoa.org #nz

🎄✨ While Christmas is a wonderful time to reconnect with whānau and friends it also forces consumerism. We are told at Christmas we must buy everyone gifts and decorate our plastic trees. Each Christmas we pollute our planet with fast fashion, plastic, and gifts people don’t actually need.

🏭 How do you get approval for a huge polluting rubbish incinerator in a quiet rural area? You bypass the Environment Court, talk to your buddies in govt and get it approved via the Fast Track Bill. 🔥 We say NO. Sign the Greenpeace petition below. community.greenpeace.org.nz/petitions/op...
