Tilting at windmills? An anti-wind group in Victoria is using what some are calling scare tactics to fight a series of wind farms. Others say they're being led up the garden path with no chance of success. 🔌 #auspol

One Nation and the Liberals want to cancel a planned transmission line in Victoria. Doing so will risk enough wind and solar projects to power the equivalent of more than four Melbournes. 🔌

This has been a bit tricky to get to the bottom of. Blowing a fan across the ground does cause drying - but how much? And when? These guys have some answers. But there is no data for Australia yet because as far as I can tell, no one is researching this here 🔌

Do wind turbines make droughts worse? A new study says they do not
By mixing different air layers, wind turbines can make surface air temperatures slightly warmer at night but they don't cause long term soil drying.

One CEO says their virus isn't a vaccine. The other does. When it comes to oncolytic viruses, whether it's a cancer vaccine or not apparently depends on which end you focus on: the initial killing, or the immunity after. Both are pretty amazing effects - if it can be made to work. #Biosky #cancer
