-as well as my imagination running wild when I do come up with the written word and the world building around it. My female heroes in my stories are witty and merciful, kind and strong. I try to steer away from Mary Sues and make the protagonists in role reversal frame of mind. That's pretty cool.

Thank you, that means a TON! :) It's hard to be kind to myself in the moment, every time. Couple days ago, I had a panic attack on the way home from Panera because the restaurant got WAY too crowded with people and kids too fast that afternoon, I had to leave and face walking home in traffic.

My therapist constantly tells me to put things in perspective, sometimes I do it and sometimes it's too hard and contradictory. Still crocheting my Halloween costume right now, and I don't know about doing the slush pile or self publishing anymore. My last WIP is now on Royal Road, though.

I know what you mean by all of this. Our country, the US, is in shambles right now because they put a criminal con man in charge, and people are suffering, both of us included, and I am so sorry. I'm also worried about melanoma and colon cancer myself. It's really rough, and no one can control that.

I feel filthy and lots of self hatred for posting on Facebook about my views as a neurodivergent woman and LGBTQ ally and supporting DEI.
